CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Colgate and Lehigh earned two Patriot League Men’s Soccer weekly awards while Loyola Maryland captured one weekly honor when the League office announced results on Monday.
Greyhounds’ senior Josh Fawole earned offensive player of the week honors for the second week in the row. Colgate senior Christian Clarke nabbed defensive player of the week, while teammate forward Drew Fischer received the rookie of the week. Lehigh senior Will Smith garnered goalkeeper of the week and teammate junior Trevor Koski was named the midfielder of the week.
American junior goalkeeper Jake Agnew and junior forward Nick Dimitrijevic, Lafayette sophomore goalkeeper Alex Sutton, and Lehigh sophomore defender Nick Jennings and sophomore forward Josh Luchini were all placed on the honorable mention list.
2019 Patriot League Men’s Soccer Tournament
Lafayette, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland and Navy all have clinched a spot in this year’s tournament so far. The remaining two slots will be determined after the contests on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The Patriot League quarterfinals are played on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the site of the third- and fourth-seeded teams, while the semifinals are hosted by the first and second seed on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The championship will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the site of the highest remaining seed.

PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Fawole, Loyola Maryland, Sr., F, Columbia, Md./Long Ranch
* Fawole factored in all three Loyola goals at Boston University on Saturday, recording two goals and an assist during a 3-0 victory, to help the Greyhounds clinch a first-round bye in this year's Patriot League tournament.
* He opened the scoring in the 55th minute, then assisted on Brian Saramago's goal 34 seconds later, and added an insurance strike with 6:20 left in regulation.
* Fawole now has a career-high 18 points (8 G, 2 A) on the year, which is tied for third among Patriot League scorers.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Trevor Koski, Lehigh, Jr., M, Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty
* Koski came up in the clutch for Lehigh in the 82nd minute, scoring the equalizer to tie Holy Cross and push the game to overtime.
* This goal was Koski's fourth of the season.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Christian Clarke, Colgate, Sr., D, Houston, Texas/Houston Christian
* Clarke netted the tying goal in the 87th minute against Navy on Saturday in the 2-1 overtime victory.
* The senior defender headed home a one-timer in front of the net with just 3:35 left in regulation.
* He also anchored the Raiders' backline in holding Navy off the board for nearly 90 minutes after the Mids netted an early strike in the fourth minute.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Will Smith, Lehigh, Sr., GK, Devon, Pa./Conestoga
* Smith picked up two victories against Rutgers and Holy Cross to, increase his total to 11 wins this season.
* The senior made seven saves while facing 23 shots in a shutout victory over Big Ten opponent Rutgers at home on Tuesday.
* He then made six saves against the Crusaders on Saturday and has allowed just one goal over his last five Patriot League games.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Drew Fischer, Colgate, Fr., F, New Albany, Ohio/New Albany
* Fischer scored his third goal of the season on a penalty kick less than three minutes into overtime to seal a 2-1 comeback victory for the Raiders over Navy on Saturday.
* His golden goal helped Colgate jump into a tie for fifth place in the Patriot League standings and helped keep the Raiders' postseason hopes alive with one match left in the regular season.

* Agnew picked up his second clean sheet of the season with four saves against Army West Point on Saturday.

* Sutton recorded his eighth shutout of the season on Saturday against Bucknell, making six in the Leopards’ 0-0 double-overtime draw against the Bison. The win helped the Leopards clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2012.

* Jennings dished an assist on the golden goal in Lehigh’s 2-1 overtime win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
Josh Luchini, Lehigh, So., F, Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny
* Luchini scored the golden goal in 99th minute, as Lehigh beat Holy Cross, 2-1 in overtime Saturday afternoon on the road.
