CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The 2019 Patriot League Men and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will take place from Wednesday, Feb. 20, through Saturday, Feb. 23, at Bucknell University's Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa. All 10 Patriot League schools will be represented. The Navy Midshipmen will look to defend their titles once again - the women in search of their eighth-straight and the men in the hunt for their 16th consecutive title. The Navy men have won the Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championship in all 15 years of competing at the event.
The four-day event will begin on Wednesday with the men's 3-meter diving trials at 2 p.m. The swimming events will kick off Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. with the first heat of the women's 200-yard medley relay final. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. and the finals will swim at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The remaining diving trials will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m.

MEN'S TOP TIMES OF 2018-19
Heading into the Patriot League Championship, the Black Knights lead the men's side with seven different swimmers holding the best time in seven of the NCAA sanctioned individual swimming events: Joshua Zock (50-yard freestyle); Kevin Lin (200-yard freestyle); Thomas Ottman (1,650-yard freestyle); Evan Zhang (200-yard breaststroke); Kevin Doo (100-yard butterfly); Jonathan Ellery (200-yard butterfly); Brian McKenrick (200-yard IM). In the 13 individual events, 19 Patriot League student-athletes have an NCAA B-cut time standard. 13 of those 19 student-athletes are on the men's side. Navy's Caleb Mauldin and James Wilson are the only male swimmers to have an NCAA B-cut time in more than one event this season. Both Mauldin and Wilson broke the 47.77 mark in the 100-yard backstroke while Mauldin also hit the 1:45.04 mark in the 200-yard backstroke and Wilson hit the 47.43 standard in the 100-yard butterfly. The Navy women have five swimmers with nine of the 13 individual event current top times - Sarah Sorensen (50-yard freestyle); Martina Thomas (100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle); Jamie Miller (200-yard backstroke); Lauren Barber (100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM); Kelly Huffer (200-yard butterfly). Seven of the 13 individual events saw a Patriot League female swimmer hit an NCAA B-cut time standard during the regular season. Lauren Barber claimed more B-cut times than anyone in the League with three - hitting the 1:01.84 standard in the 100-yard breaststroke, 2:13.97 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 1:59.94 in the 200-yard IM.
