"Lift Every Voice and Sing"
The Boston University Women's Basketball team will be playing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" at all of their home games in February as part of Black History Month, as it will be played after the National Anthem. Head Coach Marisa Moseley reflected on the importance of playing the song in Case Gym: "A lot of our student-athletes and members of our athletics community are not familiar with the song, its origins, or how powerful a message it represents. I think as they progress through their lives, it is another opportunity for us to use our collective platforms to educate and expose others." The version they will
play.
