BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 1 Lehigh (22-17) and No. 4 Navy (17-14) and No. 2 Army West Point (25-22) and No. 3 Lafayette (14-16) each split doubleheaders on the first day of the best two-of-three game Patriot League Championship semifinals.
The Black Knights and Leopards finish their series on Sunday at Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field in West Point, N.Y. The first pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Mountain Hawks and Midshipmen will meet on Sunday at J. David Walker Field at Legacy Park in Bethlehem, Pa. Live coverage on ESPN+ begins at 1 p.m.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh and Navy split Saturday’s doubleheader with the Mountain Hawks taking game one, 10-5, and the Mids staying alive by winning game two, 3-1. Game three of the best two-of-three game series is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday with live coverage on ESPN+.
GAME ONE RECAP: Lehigh junior second baseman Joe Gorla went 4-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs, and senior third baseman Gerard Sweeney went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs to lead the Mountain Hawks to a 10-5 victory over Navy in game one.
*Senior centerfielder Quinn McKenna’s solo home run and Sweeney’s two-run shot in the fourth inning helped Lehigh erase a 5-2 deficit, tying the score at five.
*Two innings later, Gorla hit a two-run home run to put the Mountain Hawks in front for good.
*Junior left-handed pitcher Matt Stamford tossed 5.0 scoreless innings of relief, scattering three hits, to pick up his third win of the season for the Mountain Hawks.
*Sophomore catcher Adam Retzbach went 2-for-3 with three runs, while freshman designated hitter Andrew Nole went 3-for-5 with a run scored for a Lehigh offense that scored 10 runs on 13 hits.
*Navy junior catcher Christian Policelli went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI, and freshman third baseman Logan Keller went 2-for-5 with an RBI to lead the Mids’ offense.
GAME TWO RECAP: Freshman third baseman Logan Keller hit a two-run home run in the top of the 10th inning to lift Navy to a 3-1 victory over Lehigh to send the series to a decisive third game on Sunday.
*Senior right-handed pitcher Trey Braithwaite tossed 2.0 scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit and striking out three to earn the win.
*The Mountain Hawks scored first on Sweeney’s solo home run in the bottom of the third inning. He went 3-for-4 in game two.
*Navy junior centerfielder Joe Simourian tied the game with a solo shot in the top of the seventh inning.
*Lehigh senior right-hander Matt Svanson lasted 6.1 innings, allowing one run on six hits with four strikeouts. Navy senior right-hander Tommy Goodridge allowed one run through 5.0 innings, and junior righty Dalton Baker tossed 3.0 scoreless in relief.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point and Lafayette split Saturday’s doubleheader with the Black Knights winning game one, 8-6, and the Leopards taking game two, 10-1. Game three of the best two-of-three game series is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. on Sunday with live coverage on ESPN+.
GAME ONE RECAP: Army West Point junior centerfielder Hunter Meade went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and junior right fielder Carter Macias went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored to lead the Black Knights to an 8-6 victory over Lafayette in game one.
*Meade’s two-run double in the fourth inning erased Lafayette’s 2-0 lead before Macias scored on a wild pitch to put the Black Knights in front 3-2.
*In the top of the sixth inning, with the score tied at three, Lafayette freshman designated hitter Blaze Fadio hit a solo homer to left field to put the Leopards back in front.
*The Black Knights responded in the bottom of the inning as Macias drove in a run on a single and scored again on a wild pitch to take a 5-4 lead.
*Army West Point extended its lead with one run in the seventh and two in the eighth inning, highlighted by senior second baseman Tim Simoes’ RBI single.
*The Leopards scored twice in the top of the ninth inning on a one-run single from junior catcher Dylan Minghini and an RBI single from senior left fielder Colin Hartey, but it was not enough in the Black Knights’ 8-6 win.
*Black Knights’ freshman right-hander Tanner Gresham picked up the victory after allowing two runs on three hits in 3.0 innings of relief. Freshman lefty Connelly Early collected the save without allowing a run in the ninth inning.
GAME TWO RECAP: Lafayette junior first baseman Zach Savage went 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, while Hartey went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored to lead the Leopards to a 10-1 win over the Black Knights, sending the series to game three on Sunday.
*Fadio went 1-for-4 with his second home run of the day, and senior second baseman Ethan Stern went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
*Freshman right-hander Luke Benneche permitted one unearned run over 6.2 innings while scattering four hits and striking out four to earn the win.
*Senior catcher Blake Ledoux scored the Black Knights’ lone run on a throwing error in the fifth inning.
*The Leopards scored a pair of runs in the first inning to take an early lead, as sophomore right fielder Pete Ciuffreda singled to drive in the first run of the game. Savage’s two-run home run in the second inning extended the Leopards’ lead to 4-0.
*Lafayette continued to roll, scoring in the fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth innings, finishing with 10 runs on 11 hits.
