BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Three Patriot League field hockey student-athletes received 2020-21 Division I All-America honors when the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced honors on Tuesday.
Two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year Noor Coenen, a senior midfielder from American, was an NFHCA Second Team All-American for the second consecutive season. Coenen is one of 20 Patriot League field hockey student-athletes to earn All-League honors four times.
Bucknell senior defender Kaelyn Long, the 2021 Patriot League Championship MVP and a two-time All-League honoree, was named a third-team All-American. Boston University senior defender Kathryn Scheerer joined long as a third-team All-American. Scheerer earned 2020-21 First Team All-Patriot League honors.
This year 48 NCAA Division I student-athletes were recognized by the NFHCA as All-Americans for their performances throughout the 2020-21 season, with selections divided into first, second, and third teams.
