HOLY CROSS NAMED ATHLON SPORTS’S TEAM OF THE WEEK
The Crusaders defeated Harvard at Harvard Stadium for the first time since 2000 and improved to 5-0 for the first time since 1991 to earn Athlon Team of the Week honors. The Crusaders moved up one spot to ninth in the Athlon FCS Top 25 Power Poll after the 30-21 victory against the Crimson.

CRUSADERS AND BISON TO MEET AT POLAR PARK IN WORCESTER
Holy Cross and Bucknell will play at Polar Park, home of the Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate Worcester WooSox, on Saturday. This marks the second-consecutive season the Crusaders have hosted a Patriot League opponent at Polar Park, having welcome Colgate last season.

WHERE FORDHAM’S OFFENSE, JACKSON STATE’S DEFENSE WOULD RANK IN FCS HISTORY
Craig Haley of Stats Perform examines where Fordham’s offense would rank among the great offensive units in the history of FCS football. The Rams are 4-1 under head coach Joe Conlin and lead the nation in scoring offense (51.8) and total offense (624.8). Sr. QB Tim DeMorat is the FCS’s leading passer, and Sr. WR Fotis Kokosioulis is the subdivision’s top receiver, but the Rams also boast a top-15 rushing offense in the nation.

Fordham’s DeMorat remained atop Stan Becton’s weekly FCS quarterback rankings on NCAA.com, in front of UIW’s Lindsey Scott Jr. DeMorat leads the FCS in passing yards per game (430.6) and passing touchdowns (26). Holy Cross Jr. QB Matthew Sluka remained fifth after throwing for 300 yards and two TDs in a win at Harvard to help the Crusaders improve to 5-0 for the first time since 1991.

HOLY CROSS MOVES UP IN CBS SPORTS FCS POWER RANKINGS
Emory Hunt of CBS Sports released his FCS power rankings leading up to week six of the season with Holy Cross remaining at No. 6 after their first win at Harvard since 2000. Fordham is also in Hunt’s power rankings at No. 15 after improving to 4-1 with a 59-38 victory over Georgetown.

Series History: Holy Cross and Bucknell meet for the 39th time in series history, with the Crusaders holding a 25-13 advantage. The series dates back to Oct. 31, 1925, when the Crusaders defeated the Bison 23-7. Holy Cross has won 13 of the last 17 games. Bucknell has won three of its last eight, specializing in close games. The three Bison victories have come by a combined 11 points, including a 31-24 overtime win in 2014. The Crusaders defeated the Bison in the first Patriot League Football Championship Game on April 17, 2021.
Last Meeting: (Nov. 20, 2021) - Holy Cross 45, at Bucknell 6 - The Crusaders were dominant from the start, scoring 31 first-half points on their way to a 45-6 victory at Bucknell to seal an undefeated 6-0 record in League play and sole possession of the 2021 Patriot League football title. Four Crusaders rushed for more than 60 yards, led by 80 yards on 10 carries by RB Jonathan Abrams. Holy Cross DL Benton Whitley finished with four tackles, 3.0 TFLs, one sack, one forced fumble and two quarterback hurries. LB Jacob Dobbs had a team-leading eight tackles.
