BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Top-seeded Army West Point (29-21, 16-8 PL) will host No. 2 Navy (28-21, 15-10 PL) when the best two-of-three-game 2024 Patriot League Baseball Championship Series begins on Sunday, May 19 at Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field.
Live coverage of each game of the 2024 Patriot League Baseball Championship Series will be available on ESPN+, with Corey Nidoh calling play-by-play and Maria Trivelpiece providing analysis.
The five-time defending Patriot League Champion Black Knights aim for their 13th League title and second under head coach Chris Tracz. Navy makes its first trip to the championship series since 2019. The Mids are in search of their seventh League title and first under first-year head coach Chuck Ristano.

CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY: The 2024 Patriot League Championship Series between the Black Knights and the Midshipmen marks the eighth season the rivals will meet in the League Tournament and the fourth time they meet in the championship series. Army West Point claimed consecutive titles over Navy, defeating the top-seeded Mids in three games in 2019 (6-2, 2-4, 4-3). The Black Knights swept the best two-of-three-game series from Navy in 2018 (8-5, 5-3) in Annapolis.
In 2011, Navy won the first meeting between the two rival programs in a championship series, taking two of three games (4-3, 3-6, 5-3). The Mids also swept the first Patriot League postseason meeting between the two squads in Annapolis in 1994 (8-4, 7-6).
The Black Knights took two games from Navy to earn the Patriot League Championship in 2000, winning the final game, 8-7, in 10 innings. Army defeated Navy in the semifinal round of the 2013 Patriot League Tournament before going on to sweep Holy Cross to claim the title. In 15 Patriot League postseason games, Army West Point is 10-5.
