BOSTON – Senior forward Malcolm Chimezie recorded his first collegiate double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Boston University to a 69-59 victory over Holy Cross, improving to 5-0 at home in League play.
*Chimezie connected on 4-of-7 from the floor and grabbed six offensive rebounds, helping the Terriers maintain a 17-5 advantage on the offensive glass and outscore Holy Cross 16-8 on second-chance points.
*BU sophomore guard Kyrone Alexander finished with a game-high 15 points along with five rebounds, while sophomore guard Michael McNair added 13 points and seven boards.
*Graduate student guard Miles Brewster chipped in 10 points, two assists and two steals for the Terriers.
*Holy Cross sophomore guard DeAndre Williams led the Crusaders with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field.
*Freshman guard Max Green, the reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week, added eight points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, while sophomore guard Joe Nugent and senior forward Caleb Kenney scored nine points apiece.
