Patriot League Announces M-F Athletic Cross Country Weekly Awards (10.21.25)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – American earned two Patriot League M-F Athletic Cross Country Weekly Awards, while Army West Point and Navy each garnered one when the results were announced by the League office on Tuesday.   
 
Navy senior Justin Mumford earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors after logging an 8K time of 23:18.5, leading Navy to the Star Meet victory over Army West Point. He logged the best 8K time of the weekend by a League runner. Army West Point's Charlotte Richman was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after logging a 6K time of 19:49.6 in the Star Meet. She won the event and finished nearly 25 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
 
American freshman Emmett Englehard was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week after posting an 8K time of 25:28.5 at the IC4A Championships. Fellow Eagle Shealyn Brochu earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive time after logging a 6K time of 21:29.8 She finished 11th overall and was the second freshman finisher.
 
American's Kaden Kluth, Bucknell's Henry Didden and Shaelan McNally and Navy's Luke Bowlsby and Juliet Frum earned honorable mention honors.
   
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK 
Justin Mumford, Navy, Sr., New Baden, Ill./Wesclin
*Mumford logged an 8K time of 23:18.5, leading Navy to the Star Meet victory over Army West Point.
*His individual championship time was the fastest logged in the Patriot League this weekend.
  
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK 
Charlotte Richman, Army West Point, Sr., Portland, Ore./Ida B. Wells-Barnett
*Richman won the Star Meet women's 6K with a personal-best mark of 19:49.6.  
*She finished nearly 25 seconds ahead of the runner-up competitor.

PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Emmett Englehardt, American, Fr., Arlington, Va./Washington-Liberty
*Englehardt logged an 8K time of 25:28.5 at the IC4A Championships.
*He was the fourth-finishing freshman in a field of over 200.
*The Eagles finished fourth as team.
  
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Shealyn Brochu, American, Fr., Bath, Maine/Morse
*Brochu finished 11th at the IC4A Championships and was just the second freshman finisher.  
*She clocked a time of 21:29.8 in the 6K.

Kaden Kluth, American, Sr., Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth
*Kluth finished eighth at the IC4A Championships with an 8K time of 24:35.8.
Henry Didden, Bucknell, Sr., Woodland Hills, Calif./Viewpoint
*Didden finished as the runner-up at the IC4A Championships with an 8K Time of 24:24.1.
 
Luke Bowlsby, Navy, Fr., Amherst, Ohio/Marion L. Steele
*Bowlsby helped Navy to a Star Meet victory with an 8K time of 24:42.8.
 
Shaelan McNally, Bucknell, So., Hadden Heights, N.J./Paul VI Catholic
*McNally finished sixth at the IC4A Championships with a 6K mark of 20:56.4
 
Juliet Frum, Navy, Fr., Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista
*Frum was the top freshman finisher at the Star Meet with a 6K time of 20:55.1.

The 2025 Patriot League Cross Country Championships are slated for Friday, Oct. 31, in Bethlehem, Pa., on the campus of Lehigh University.
