No. 3 Army West Point and No. 5 Navy Advance to 2025 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Semifinals (11.18.25)

Black Knights sweep Leopards; Mids rally past Bison in five sets

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 3 Army West Point (18-8, 11-5 PL) and No. 5 Navy (13-13, 8-8 PL) advanced through the first round of the 2025 Patriot League Volleyball Championship, presented by Credit Union 1, on Tuesday with wins over No. 6 Lehigh and No. 4 Bucknell, respectively.

No. 3 Army West Point will play No. 2 Colgate on Friday, Nov. 21, at 3:00 p.m., while No. 5 Navy advanced to play top-seeded American at 6:30 p.m.

Both semifinal-round matches will be played at Bender Arena on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C.

The semifinal round winners will meet in the 2025 Patriot League Championship Match on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – No. 3 Army West Point swept No. 6 Lehigh, 3-0, in the first round of the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Championship on Tuesday night inside Gillis Field House.

*The Black Knights return to the semifinal round for the fourth straight year and will face No. 2 Colgate on Friday at 3 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
*Army West Point senior outside hitter Chloe Murakami finished with a match-high 12 kills to go with four digs and two aces, while sophomore middle blocker Michelle Parker added nine kills and five blocks.
*Senior outside hitter Mackenzie Lynch tallied seven kills, 12 digs and three blocks, and junior setter Juliette Myrick posted three kills, 17 assists and eight digs.
*Sophomore setter Naomi Chinchar recorded a double-double with 19 assists and 14 digs, while sophomore libero Nicole Stroud added 12 digs.
*Lehigh was paced by senior right-side hitter Natalie Luscomb and first-year outside hitter Mary Massias, who each had nine kills.
*Junior setter Abby Felkai totaled 19 assists and five digs, and sophomore defensive specialist Sophia Bond contributed 13 digs and six assists.
*The Black Knights held the advantage in aces (7-1), while both teams finished with seven total blocks.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – No. 5 Navy rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat No. 4 Bucknell in five sets in the first round of the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Championship on Tuesday night inside Davis Gym.

*The Mids topped the Bison for the third time this season and advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 2023.
*Navy freshman outside hitter Caroline Buffum led all players with 18 kills to go with two digs and two block assists. Sophomore outside hitter Farrah Eike added 16 kills, six digs and five block assists.
*Senior outside hitter Anuhea Hauanio-Lore finished with 11 kills, eight digs and two aces.
*Junior setter Arleigh Hanson recorded a double-double with 27 assists and 17 digs, while senior setter Lainey Feighery contributed 25 assists and seven digs.
*Sophomore defensive specialist Amara Chambers posted a match-high 21 digs along with 10 assists.
*Bucknell had four players reach double-digits kills, led by junior middle blocker Sidney Shaffer, who posted 14 kills, three digs and four blocks.
*Senior outside hitter Bri Frazilus recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 18 digs, while sophomore outside hitter Bella Rodriguez added 10 kills and 18 digs. Senior opposite hitter Tijana Kostic had 10 kills and nine digs.
*Senior setters Laura Caro and Caleigh O’Connell handed out 24 and 20 assists, respectively, and junior defensive specialist Cameron Lloyd totaled 17 digs and five assists.
*Navy finished with the advantage in hitting percentage (.215-.164), aces (6-1) and blocks (14-8).
