BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point and Boston University each collected two of the five weekly men’s lacrosse awards, while Loyola Maryland received one when the League office announced the awards on Monday.
Army West Point senior attack Jackson Eicher claimed Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors after registering four goals and three assists in the Black Knights’ 16-9 win over UMass.
Loyola Maryland senior defender Remi Reynolds earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after causing a career-high five turnovers and picking up four ground balls.
Black Knights’ senior Will Coletti was named Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week following his 15 faceoff wins and nine ground balls against the Minutemen.
Boston University senior Will Barnes was selected as Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week following a 12-save performance in a victory over Siena.
Terriers’ freshman attack Timothy Shannehan earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after recording four goals and one assist. Shannehan became the second BU rookie to score four goals in a season opener and first since 2015.
Army West Point freshman attack Brayden Fountain and senior long stick midfielder Christian Fournier, Boston University junior defender Connor Kehm, Bucknell sophomore faceoff specialist Ben Concepcion, Holy Cross freshman faceoff specialist Harry Attell and sophomore attack Jude Lynch, and Loyola Maryland junior goalkeeper Max Watkinson all collected honorable mentions for their performances last week.
The Patriot League men’s lacrosse players of the week were selected in a vote by League men’s lacrosse communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Coletti, the 2025 Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Preseason Faceoff Specialist of the Year, won 15 out of 23 faceoffs and scooped up nine ground balls to help Army West Point to a 16-9 win over UMass.
Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week
Will Barnes, Boston University, Sr., GK, South Riding, Va./Paul VI
*Barnes led Boston University to a 9-7 win at Siena on Saturday as the senior finished with 12 saves.
*The South Riding, Va. native made six stops in the first half and held the Saints scoreless until 12:05 left in the third quarter.
Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
Timothy Shannehan, Boston University, Fr., A, Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Prep
*Shannehan guided Boston University to a season-opening win at Siena on Saturday as he led the Terriers with five points on four goals and one assist. The freshman tallied a hat trick in the second quarter, scoring the final three goals to give BU a 4-0 halftime lead.
*The Fairfield, Conn. native is the second Terrier rookie to score four goals in a season opener and first since 2015.

*Kehm played a key role in the Terriers’ 9-7 win at Siena on Saturday as he led Boston University with three turnovers and five ground balls to go with his second career assist.
*The Glen Rock, N.J. native anchored a BU defense that held Siena scoreless until 12:05 left in the third quarter.

*Concepion, the reigning Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week, won 7-of-10 at the “X” and had two ground balls in Bucknell’s 21-8 win at St. Bonaventure.

*In Holy Cross’ 13-12 win at Queens on Friday, Attell finished with a .667-win percentage at the dot (12-for-18) and picked up a team-high five ground balls.

*Lynch picked up his first collegiate hat trick in Holy Cross’ win over Queens as the sophomore finished with four goals and two ground balls.
*The Rockville Center, N.Y. native third and fourth goals extended the led to 11-9 and 12-9, respectively.
Max Watkinson, Loyola Maryland, Jr., GK, Baltimore, Md./St. Paul’s School for Boys
*Watkinson made 11 saves and allowed only eight goals to fourth-ranked Maryland as Loyola Maryland fell 9-8 in overtime on Saturday.
*The junior had seven saves in the first quarter and played a role in the Greyhounds’ 92 percent clear percentage.
