BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2025 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship continues on Sunday, March 9, with a pair of semifinal-round contests on CBS Sports Network.
 
No. 1 Bucknell advanced to the semifinal round with a 76-72 win over No. 8 Loyola Maryland in its NCAA-record ninth overtime game of the season. The Bison will meet No. 5 Navy, who downed No. 4 Boston University, 86-78, in the quarterfinals. Live coverage on CBS Sports Network begins at noon with Jason Knapp and Mo Cassara on the call, with Keiana Martin reporting from the sidelines.
 
No. 2 American survived a close call against Lafayette in a 71-69 quarterfinal victory. The Eagles face four-time defending Patriot League champion No. 3 Colgate in the semifinals after the Raiders defeated No. 6 Army, 84-55, to win their 13th straight League tournament game. Chris Lewis will handle play-by-play, and Tre Demps will provide analysis for the 2 p.m. meeting on CBS Sports Network.

SEASON SERIES: Bucknell swept the season series against Navy.
SERIES HISTORY: Sunday’s game marks the 93rd time Bucknell and Navy meet on the hardwood. The Bison hold a 48-44 series advantage, including 5-3 in Patriot League Championship Games.
GAME ONE (Jan. 18 – BOX SCORE): At Bucknell 73, Navy 69 – Jr. C Noah Williamson scored a game-high 25 points to lead Bucknell to a 73-69 decision over Navy. Williamson scored the Bison’s last four points to hold off the Midshipmen in a game that saw seven lead changes and six ties. Sr. G Josh Bascoe added 18 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals. Navy Jr. G Austin Benigni scored a team-high 23 points to surpass 1,000 career points. He added five rebounds, five assists and two steals to lead the Mids.
GAME TWO (Feb. 1 – BOX SCORE): Bucknell 85, at Navy 75 – Jr. C Noah Williamson recorded a double-double with 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead Bucknell to an 85-75 victory at Navy to sweep the season series. Sr. G’s Elvin Edmonds IV and Josh Bascoe chipped in 14 and 11 points, respectively. Bascoe added a game-high seven assists.  Benigni and So. G Carnegie Johnson led the Mids with 21 points apiece. Benigni added five boards, four assists and two steals.

SEASON SERIES: American swept the season series against Colgate, marking the first League team to sweep the Raiders in six seasons.
SERIES HISTORY: The Raiders and Eagles meet for the 54th time in series history, with American holding a 35-18 advantage. The Eagles are 6-0 against the Raiders in the Patriot League Championship, including a 73-62 win at Colgate in the 2014-15 semifinals.
GAME ONE (Jan. 25 – BOX SCORE): At American 81, Colgate 77 -  Gr. F Matt Rogers scored a game-high 26 points, including 10 of the Eagles’ final 16, to seal American’s 81-77 victory over Colgate, extending their win streak to five games. So. F Greg Jones added 18 points, and Sr. G Elijah Stephens finished with 15 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals. Colgate Gr. F Jeff Woodward posted a double-double with a then career-high 25 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. He added two assists, two blocked shots and a steal.
GAME TWO (March 1 – BOX SCORE): American 67, at Colgate 59 - Rogers scored a game-high 20 points to lead American to a 67-59 victory at Colgate to clinch a share of the Patriot League regular-season crown for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Jones finished with 12 points and six boards on 4-of-7 shooting. Colgate Sr. G Chandler Baker and So. G Parker Jones scored 13 points apiece as the Raiders’ streak of five straight regular-season titles was snapped.
