BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy sophomore Emma Tang carded a tournament-best 2-under par 70 to help the Mids extend its lead to 32 strokes after the second round of the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship, presented by Credit Union 1, at Saucon Valley Country Club.
Tang vaulted to the top of a Navy-filled individual leaderboard, sitting at 1-under par 143 through two rounds. Junior teammate Sue Lee shot an even par-72 to move to second place at 3-over par 147, while Navy’s freshman Megan Kirkpatrick is third after shooting a 4-over par 76, putting her at 4-over par 148 heading into Sunday’s final round.
For the second consecutive day, Navy fired a 4-over par 292, with five of its student-athletes occupying the top seven spots on the leaderboard. The Mids have posted a 36-hole total of 8-over par 584 to move one round away from collecting their second straight Patriot League Women’s Golf title.
Boston University junior Annika Manjunath shot a 4-over par 76 in the second round to move into a fourth-place tie with Navy sophomore Keira Howard at 5-over par 149. She led the Terriers to a second-round score of 18-over par 306 to sit at 40-over par 616 through 36 holes. Two-time Patriot League Player of the Year Christy Chen is tied for ninth at 10-over par 154 headed into the final round.
Bucknell turned in its best Patriot League Championship round in program history, shooting a 9-over par 297 to move into third place at 48-over par 624. Two-time All-Patriot League honoree Paige Richter carded the second-best round of the tournament, shooting a 1-under par 71 on Saturday. She is tied for sixth at 7-over par 151, while freshman teammate Sophia Bardunias is eighth at 9-over par 153.
The host Mountain Hawks shot an 18-over par 306 to improve by 19 strokes in the second round but slipped to fourth place at 55-over par 631 through 36 holes. Sophomore Stefania Fedun (+11, 155) and junior Yuki Zhu (+12, 156) are 11th and 12th, respectively.
Holy Cross rounds out the field after improving by six strokes from the first round, shooting a team score of 322 on Saturday. Freshman Sophia Cellura leads the Crusaders in a tie for ninth place at 10-over par 154 through 36 holes.
The third and final round at the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship, presented by Credit Union 1, will begin at 9 a.m. at Saucon Valley Country Club on Sunday.

INDIVIDUAL HONORS: The competitor with the lowest three-round score will be the Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship individual medalist. The top six finishers receive a spot on the All-Patriot League First Team, with the following six finishers receiving second-team honors. Patriot League women’s golf head coaches will vote for the three major awards - player, rookie and coach of the year - at the conclusion of the championship.
CROWNING A TEAM CHAMPION: Each of the five participating teams consists of six golfers, with the top four scorers in each round counting toward the team score. The final team score will be determined by totaling all completed rounds. Individual scoring consists of the lowest aggregate score of all completed rounds. Navy is the defending Patriot League champion after winning at the Bucknell Golf Club last season. The Mids captured their second League crown. Boston University has three Patriot League titles. Bucknell (2014) and Lehigh (2013) have each won one League title. Richmond, who competed in the League as an associate member from 2015 until 2024, claimed four titles.
TEAM CHAMPION EARNS AUTOMATIC BID TO THE NCAA REGIONALS: The Patriot League Champion will receive the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals. The individual medalist will also receive a bid to the regionals if they are not on the championship team. The NCAA Regionals will be held from May 5-7 at six sites around the country, including Charlottesville, Va.; Columbus, Ohio; Golf Canyon, Ariz.; Lexington, Ky.; Lubbock, Texas and Norman, Okla. The championship is scheduled for May 16-21 in Carlsbad, Calif. The 2025 NCAA DI Women’s Golf Selection Show will be on GOLF Channel on Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m. ET.
