Patriot League Announces Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week (4.21.25)

Army West Points collected three awards; Navy receives two, while Chung ties record with seventh rookie of the week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 19/19 Army West Point collected three of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards when the League office announced honors on Monday. No. 21/22 Navy received two accolades.
 
Army West Point junior Allison Reilly claimed Patriot League Attacker of the Week for the fifth consecutive week and the sixth time this season. The Sayville, N.Y. native contributed 17 points on 10 goals and seven assists in the Black Knights’ wins against Holy Cross (13-11) and Bucknell (16-6).  
 
Black Knights’ junior Brigid Duffy collected her fifth Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week of the season after totaling seven goals, eight draw controls and five ground balls during a 2-0 week that helped Army earn the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
 
Army West Point junior Lindsey Serafine claimed her third Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week after helping the Black Knights to an undefeated week. She posted a .579 save percentage and an 8.26 goals-against average (GAA) in wins against Holy Cross and Bucknell.
 
Navy senior Alyssa Daley received Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after 35 draw controls in two games to help the Mids defeat Lehigh (21-5) and Lafayette (18-4) and clinch the No. 3 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
 
Navy freshman attack Alyssa Chung extended her Patriot League record with her sixth straight Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week award. Her seven rookie of the week honors match Navy’s Kelly Larkin and Loyola Maryland’s Livy Rosenzweig for the League’s single-season record. Chung finished with 12 points on nine goals and three assists in wins against Lehigh (21-5) and Lafayette (18-4) last week.  
 
Army West Point junior defender Meghan Pedrani, Boston University sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa, Colgate senior midfielder Lucy Licata and senior Nelle Kniffin, Lafayette senior goalkeeper Molly Terraciano, No. 15/14 Loyola Maryland junior midfielder Elisa Faklaris and senior attack Georgia Latch and Navy senior attack Tori DiCarlo and sophomore midfielder Mikayla Williams all earned honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
The Patriot League women’s lacrosse players of the week were selected in a vote by each school’s women’s lacrosse athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Reilly totaled 17 points on 10 goals and seven assists in the Black Knights’ victories over Holy Cross (13-11) and Bucknell (16-6).
*She added five draw controls, three ground balls and one caused turnover.
*The junior attacker matched her program high with 12 points on six goals and six assists against the Bison on Saturday.   
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Brigid Duffy, Army West Point, Jr., Midfielder, Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury
*Duffy combined for seven goals, eight draw controls and five ground balls during Army West Point’s 2-0 week.
*The junior midfielder posted four goals, one assist, three ground balls and three draw controls in a 13-11 win over Holy Cross on Wednesday.
*She finished with three goals, five draw controls and two ground balls in a 16-6 victory over Bucknell on Saturday.  
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alyssa Daley, Navy, Sr., Defender/Draw Specialist, Walkersville, Md./Middletown
*Daley combined for 35 draw controls in Navy’s wins at Lehigh (21-5) and against Lafayette (18-4).
*She became the first Mid in program history to record more than 20 draw controls in a game, with 21 against the Mountain Hawks on Wednesday, one shy of the Patriot League single-game record.
*The Walkersville, Md. native posted 14 draw controls, and one caused turnover against the Leopards.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Lindsey Serafine, Army West Point, Jr., Goalkeeper, Tabernacle, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy Academy
*Serafine posted a .579 save percentage and an 8.26 GAA in Army West Point’s wins over Holy Cross (13-11) and Bucknell (16-6).
*She made 12 saves and picked up three ground balls in the Black Knights’ win over the Crusaders on Wednesday.
*The junior goalkeeper made 10 saves and held the Bison to five goals in 56 minutes in a victory to clinch the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alyssa Chung, Navy, Fr., Attack, Severna Park, Md./Severna Park
*Chung finished with 12 points on nine goals and three assists in Navy’s victories over Lehigh (21-5) and Lafayette (18-4).
*She scored a career-high six goals in the Mids win over the Mountain Hawks.
*The Severna Park, Md. native posted three goals and two assists in a victory over the Leopards to clinch the No. 3 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
 
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Meghan Pedrani, Army West Point, Jr. Defender, Neshanic Station, N.J./Somerville
*Pedrani caused five turnovers and picked up six ground balls to help Army West Point defeat Holy Cross (13-11) and Bucknell (16-6) last week. She picked up a career-high four ground balls and caused two turnovers in the Black Knights’ win over the Crusaders. The junior defender caused three turnovers to help Army hold Bucknell to six goals in a win that clinched the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
 
Natalie Aiosa, Boston University, So., Goalkeeper, Catonsville, Md./Mount De Sales Academy
*Aiosa made 13 saves in two games to help Boston University go 1-1 last week. The sophomore goalkeeper recorded six saves and held American to five goals in a 12-5 win on Saturday. She also picked up four ground balls.  
 
Lucy Licata, Colgate, Sr., Midfielder, Hopkinton, N.H./The Derryfield School
*Licata posted five goals and 19 draw controls to help Colgate go 2-0 last week to earn a berth in the Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship field. She finished with two goals and 11 draw controls in the Raiders’ 14-10 win over the Terriers. She added three goals and eight draw controls in Saturday’s 11-10 win at Lehigh.  
 
Nelle Kniffin, Colgate, Sr., Defender, Darien, Conn./Darien
*Kniffin combined for eight draw controls, six ground balls and four caused turnovers in Colgate’s wins against Boston University (14-10) and Lehigh (11-10). She picked up five ground balls and caused two turnovers in the win against the Terriers. Against the Mountain Hawks, she finished with six draw controls, and two caused turnovers.  
 
Molly Terraciano, Lafayette, Sr., Goalkeeper, Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial
*Terraciano made seven saves and picked up five ground balls in Lafayette’s 11-10 victory over Bucknell on Wednesday. The senior goalkeeper eclipsed 100 saves for the season against the Bison, becoming the 16th Leopards’ goalie to reach the milestone.
 
Elisa Faklaris, Loyola Maryland, Jr., Midfielder, Penfield, N.Y./Penfield Senior
*Faklaris finished with six points on four goals and two assists in the Greyhounds’ 20-10 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday to claim the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Championship. The Penfield, N.Y. native added two ground balls, and one caused turnover in the win. She was key in the Greyhounds’ transition game, helping Loyola Maryland go 16-for-17 on clear attempts.
 
Georgia Latch, Loyola Maryland, Sr., Attack, Melbourne, Australia/Williamstown
*Latch posted 10 points on seven goals and three assists to lead Loyola Maryland to a 20-10 victory over Holy Cross to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Championship and at least a share of the regular-season title. She added eight draw controls, helping the Greyhounds win 25-of-33 draws on the day. The senior attacker recorded her third 10-point game of the season.  
 
Tori DiCarlo, Navy, Sr., Attack, Rosemont, Pa./Radnor
*DiCarlo helped the Mids to a pair of victories last week, combining for seven goals, four assists, two caused turnovers and two ground balls. She scored four goals in the Mids’ 21-5 win at Lehigh. The senior attacker posted three goals and three assists in an 18-4 win against Lafayette on Saturday.  
 
Mikayla Williams, Navy, So., Bexley, Ohio/Bexley
*Williams recorded six points on five goals and one assist to go along with two ground balls and six draw controls to help Navy to wins against Lehigh (21-5) and Lafayette (18-4). She scored a team-high five goals in the Mids’ win against the Leopards.
