BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 3 Lafayette defeated No. 6 Navy, 9-5, and No. 5 Colgate upset No. 4 Lehigh, 14-10, to advance to the semifinal round of the 2025 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Friday, May 2 at Army West Point’s Mitchie Stadium.
Colgate sophomore midfielder Liam Connor posted a game-high seven points on three goals and four assists to lead the Raiders to their first semifinal appearance since 2021. Senior attack Jack Turner found the back of the net three times and senior goalkeeper Matt LaCombe finished with 10 saves in the win over defending Patriot League Champion Lehigh.
Three Leopards scored two goals apiece and junior goalkeeper Joe Doherty made 18 saves to lead No. 3 Lafayette to the semifinal round for the first time in program history. Under Patriot League Coach of the Year Patrick Myers, the Leopards earned their first Patriot League Championship victory and set a single-season program record with 10 wins.
The fifth-seeded Raiders will travel to West Point to battle the top-seeded Black Knights on Friday, May 2, at 4 p.m. The third-seeded Leopards will meet No. 2 Boston University in the second semifinal matchup, with a faceoff scheduled for 7 p.m. Both semifinal-round games will air on CBS Sports Network.
The 2025 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship Game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, at 11:30 a.m. on CBS Sports Network. Dave Ryan and Steve Panarelli will be on the call for all three games.

*With the score tied at 3-3 after the first quarter, the Raiders seized momentum by scoring the first four goals of the second period.
*Senior attack Jack Turner registered a hat trick and junior midfielder Hunter Drouin added two goals while six different Raiders found the back of the net.
*Raiders senior goalkeeper Matt LaCombe made 10 saves, pushing his career total to 645, which is tied for fourth in Patriot League history.
*Lehigh senior midfielder Dakota Eierman tallied a game-high five goals and one assist. Five different Mountain Hawks accounted for the remaining goals and sophomore goalkeeper Kasey Heath posted 14 saves.
*Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Year senior Sean Dow finished 16-of-25 at the faceoff ‘X’.

EASTON, Pa. – It was a historic night at Fisher Stadium as No. 3 Lafayette used an 18-save performance from junior goalkeeper Joe Doherty to defeat No. 6 Navy, 9-5, and advance to the semifinals of the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history.
*The Leopards jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first quarter, powered by two goals from senior midfielder Liam Sargent.
*Freshmen midfielders Joseph Duggan and Nicholas Blalock each scored twice, while senior attack Riley Sullivan dished out a game-high three assists.
*Junior Jack Irish, freshman attack Benjamin DiBattista (one assist) and junior Jack Irish each added a goal for Lafayette
*Five different Midshipmen scored, with junior attack Mac Haley leading Navy with three points on one goal and two assists.
*Navy junior goalkeeper Dan Daly finished with 10 saves, while junior Colin Shadowens and sophomore Zack Hayashi combined to win 11-for-18 faceoffs.
