BETHLEHEM, Pa. –Top-seeded Holy Cross earned a decisive game-three victory over No. 4 Lehigh and will host No. 3 Army West Point, who took two games from No. 2 Navy on Sunday, for the 2025 Patriot League Baseball Championship Series.
The No. 1 Crusaders (29-23, 17-8 PL) scored 14 runs between the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to cruise to a 19-9 victory over No. 4 Lehigh to advance to the Patriot League Championship Series for the first time since 2017 and the first time under two-time Patriot League Coach of the Year Ed Kahovec.
No. 3 Army West Point (25-23, 14-11 PL) won two games on Sunday to advance to the Patriot League Championship Series for the seventh straight season. The six-time defending champion Black Knights were led by senior Justin Lehman, who allowed one run through 7.0 innings to earn a win in game two before driving in three runs in game three.
The Black Knights will travel to Worcester, Mass., to face regular-season champion Holy Cross in the best two-of-three-game championship series at Fitton Field beginning on Saturday, May 17. The first pitch for game one is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Sunday’s game two will also start at 1:05 p.m. Game three, if necessary, is slated for Monday, May 19 with the time still to be determined. Each game of the Patriot League Baseball Championship Series will be available live on ESPN+. The Patriot League Championship Series winner will receive the League’s automatic berth to the NCAA Baseball Regionals.

GAME 2 | NO. 4 LEHIGH 7, at NO. 1 HOLY CROSS 2 (BOX SCORE) - Junior catcher Owen Walewander went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, including a solo home run to lead No. 4 Lehigh to a 7-2 victory over No. 1 Holy Cross in game two of the Patriot League Championship Semifinals.
*Sophomore RHP Liam O’Hearen tossed 5.2 scoreless innings of relief, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out nine to force a third game.
*After the Crusaders took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, Walewander homered in the second inning to cut the deficit in half, then scored again during the Mountain Hawks’ four-run sixth inning as senior DH Justin Butler and senior 3B Sam Holtz contributed RHI singles to put Lehigh in front for good.
*Junior 1B Aidan Quinn went 3-for-5 with two runs, while sophomore LF Raffaele Rogers drove in a pair of runs and scored once to help force a third game.
*Sophomores John LaFleur and Gianni Royer both went 2-for-4, while Royer doubled and drove in a run for the Crusaders.
*Patriot League Pitcher of the Year Jaden Wywoda allowed five runs, three earned on seven hits over 5.2 innings to take the loss. He struck out six and walked one.
GAME 3 | AT NO. 1 HOLY CROSS 19, NO. 4 LEHIGH 9 (BOX SCORE) – Top-seeded Holy Cross exploded for 16 runs over the final three innings to defeat No. 4 Lehigh, 19-9, to advance to the Patriot League Championship Series for the first time since 2017.
*Senior 3B Connor Peek went 4-for-6 with two runs and three RBIs, and sophomore LF John LaFleur went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run and a game-high four RBIs.
*King went 3-for-6 with one double, one triple, three runs scored and two RBIs, while Patriot League Player of the Year CJ Egrie went 2-for-4 with three walks, two runs and two RBIs.
*Senior RHP Luke LeMond earned the win after allowing two runs on two hits through 2.2 innings while striking out six and walking three. Freshman RHP Pedro Leon picked up the save after allowing one unearned run on two hits with five strikeouts over 2.1 innings.
*Lehigh senior RF Andrew Kohl hit a two-run home run in the second inning to bring the Mountain Hawks within one run before junior SS Dom Patrizi’s two-run double put them in front in the fourth inning.
*Lehigh tacked on two more runs in the fourth, including an RBI single from Walewander to take a 6-3 lead.
*Holy Cross answered with six runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by a two-run double from Peek and a two-run single from LaFleur.
*The Crusaders scored six more runs in the seventh inning, with Royer contributing a two-run single.
*LaFleur hit a two-run home run as part of a four-run eighth inning to put the Crusaders in front 19-8.
*Lehigh’s Quinn drove in the final run on a sacrifice fly to center field to make the score 19-9.
*Patrizi went 1-for-3 with two walks, one run and two RBIs, while junior 2B Ryan Cochran also drove in a pair of runs for Lehigh.

(BOX SCORE) – Senior shortstop Thomas Schreck drew a bases-loaded walk in the top of the 10th inning to plate the game-winning run as No. 3 Army West Point defeated No. 2 Navy, 6-5, in the decisive third game of the Patriot League Championship Semifinals.
*Senior RHP Trey Ates tossed 6.0 scoreless innings of relief, scattering four hits while striking out five and walking one to pick up his fifth win of the season.
*Junior LF William Parker went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, one double, three RBIs and three runs scored, while Lehman went 3-for-3 with two walks and two RBIs to lead the Black Knights’ offense.
*Navy was led by DePerno, who went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and two runs scored. Freshman LF Masson Ceccarelli went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored, while senior 2B Brock Murtha went 3-for-5.
*Senior RHP Landon Kruer allowed one run on two hits over 5.1 innings of relief to take the loss.
*The Black Knights continued to roll in game two, as Parker hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence to give Army a 2-0 lead.
*DePerno answered in the bottom of the first inning, hitting a two-run homer to left field to tie the score at two.
*In the top of the third inning, Lehman tripled to drive in Parker to put the Black Knights in front.

*Lehman put Army back in front with an RBI single through the left side before junior catcher Jack Quinlan hit an RBI single to left field to take a 5-3 lead.
*The Mids tied the score in the bottom of the fifth inning when Killelea singled to drive in one run and Henry Mitchell’s sacrifice fly scored another.
*In the top of the 10th inning, Schreck drew a bases-loaded walk to allow Michael Delph to cross the plate for the game-winning run.
