BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette and Lehigh each received a Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse weekly award when the League office announced the honors on Monday.
Lafayette sophomore Benjamin DiBattista collected Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling 12 points on 11 goals and one assist in the Leopards’ 2-0 week.
Boston University senior defender Connor Kehm was named Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week following a 10-ground ball and five-caused turnover performance in the Terriers’ 13-5 win over Dartmouth.
For the second straight week, Holy Cross’ Shane McDonnell was honored as the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Faceoff Specialist of the Week. The freshman recorded 30 faceoff wins and 13 ground balls in the Crusaders’ 1-1 week.
Colgate sophomore Andrew Lehrman earned Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week recognition following a career-high 21 saves in the Raiders’ 7-6 win over Hobart.
Lehigh first-year attack Finn Morgan received Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight week. Morgan totaled eight goals and two assists in the Mountain Hawks’ 2-0 week, which included a victory at No. 19 Michigan.
Honorable mentions went to Army West Point senior goalkeeper Sean Byrne, senior midfielder Evan Plunkett and junior faceoff specialist Robert Simone, Boston University freshman attack Peyton Forte and sophomore goalkeeper Connor Phillips, Lehigh sophomore attack Luke Breslin and senior defender Richard Checo.

*DiBattista recorded 12 points on 11 goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for Lafayette. The sophomore had three goals, one assist and a caused turnover in a 10-9 victory over Binghamton on Tuesday.
*The Westwood, Mass. native added eight goals, four ground balls and a caused turnover in the Leopards’ 19-9 win at NJIT on Saturday.
*DiBattista leads the Patriot League in goals (14) and is tied for second in points (15) through three games.

*McDonnell recorded his second straight Faceoff Speicalist of the Week award after recording 30 faceoff wins and 13 ground balls in Holy Cross’ 1-1 week.
*The freshman went 13-for-21 at the ‘X’ in the Crusaders’ 14-8 win at Merrimack, before posting a career-high 17 faceoff victories against Sacred Heart on Saturday.
*The Dedham, Mass. native ranks fourth in the Patriot League in faceoff win percentage (.618).
Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week

*Lehrman made a career-high 21 saves, scooped up a ground ball and caused a turnover in Colgate’s 7-6 win at Hobart.
*The sophomore leads the Patriot League in saves (49) and saves per game (16.33) while ranking fourth in save percentage (.533).

*The Ontario native ranks second in the Patriot League in goals (13) and tied for third in points (15).
