WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point used a dominant first half and strong defense to defeat Colgate, 59–35, on Wednesday morning at Christl Arena.
*Army West Point opened the game on a 17–5 run and held Colgate to 3-of-9 shooting to take a 17–7 lead after one quarter.
*The Black Knights extended the margin in the second quarter, shooting 70 percent in the period and carrying a 38–15 advantage into halftime.
*The Black Knights continued to control the game in the second half, outscoring Colgate 21-20 earn their eighth Patriot League victory.
*Army West Point forced 24 Colgate turnovers and limited the Raiders to 30.2 percent shooting for the game.
*The Black Knights finished with a 36–28 edge on the glass and scored 17 points off turnovers.
*Junior guard Camryn Tade led Army West Point with 10 points, while junior guard Brooke Wilson and junior forward Kya Smith added nine points apiece. Freshman forward Reganne Reardon grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
*Colgate sophomore guard Taye Matthews paced Colgate with nine points and senior guard Madison Schiller grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

– Lehigh held off a late Loyola Maryland push to secure a 63–62 win at Stabler Arena.
*Lehigh shot 42.9 percent in the opening quarter and built a 17–10 lead behind perimeter scoring from junior forward Whitney Lind and first-year guard Alana Reddy.
*Loyola Maryland responded in the second, using a 7–0 stretch to briefly pull within one point before Lehigh carried a 28–27 edge into halftime.
*The Mountain Hawks gained separation in the third quarter, outscoring the Greyhounds 20–14 and extending the margin to 48–41 behind inside finishes from senior forward Lily Fandre and sophomore forward Belle Bramer.
*Loyola Maryland answered in the fourth quarter, trimming the deficit to one point on multiple occasions behind interior scoring Lex Therien who had seven points in the quarter.
*After being fouled with eight seconds remaining, Lehigh split two free throws and made a defensive stop to hold off the Greyhounds on the final possession.
*Lind led Lehigh with 17 points, while Fandre added 14 points and Bramer finished with 11 points as the Mountain Hawks shot 43.2 percent from the field.
*Therien paced Loyola Maryland with 17 points and 10 rebounds, moving into a tie for first on the Patriot League’s all-time rebounding list with 1,197 career boards. Senior guard Kimmie Hicks added 19 points for the Greyhounds.

. – Bucknell used a dominant fourth quarter to pull away from American and secure a 58–45 Patriot League victory Wednesday evening at Sojka Pavilion.
*Bucknell led 13–9 after the first quarter, closing the period on a 4–0 stretch to seize early control.
*The Bison carried a 22–19 edge into halftime after freshman forward Mariah Hardy scored five second-quarter points to help fend off an American rally.
*Bucknell gained separation in the third quarter, shooting 46.2 percent and extending the margin to 36–32 entering the fourth quarter.
*The Bison broke the game open in the final period, opening the quarter on a 13–2 surge highlighted by two 3-pointers from sophomore guard Reese Zemitis to build a 16-point lead.
*Bucknell shot 58.3 percent in the fourth quarter and outscored American 22–13 to seal the win.
*Junior forward Tuana Coskun led all scorers with 21 points, while Zemitis added 12 points and Hardy contributed nine points off the bench as the Bison scored 18 points off turnovers.
*Sophomore guard Madisyn Moore-Nicholson paced American with 15 points, while sophomore guard Molly Driscoll added 10 points and freshman forward Charlotte Tuhy grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

– Navy used strong second and third quarters to pull away from Lafayette to win their eighth consecutive game.
*Navy built a 19–11 lead after the first quarter behind balanced scoring and six early points from junior guard Zanai Barnett-Gay.
*The Midshipmen seized control in the second, outscoring Lafayette 15–2 while holding the Leopards to 1-of-13 shooting to carry a 34–13 advantage into halftime.
*Navy continued its surge in the third quarter, using a 16–3 stretch midway through the period to push the margin to 32 points and lead 56–27 entering the fourth quarter.
*Navy finished with a 52–43 rebounding edge and forced 13 Lafayette turnovers while scoring 15 points off those miscues.
*Barnett-Gay led all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds, adding five assists and three steals, while freshman guard Zoe Mesuch chipped in nine points.
*Junior guard Teresa Kiewiet paced Lafayette with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and sophomore guard Talia Zurinskas added 12 points.
