BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Army West Point, Boston University and Colgate each claimed a Patriot League softball weekly award when the League office announced the honors on Monday.
Army West Point sophomore outfielder Siena Tepley was named Patriot League Player of the Week after batting .611 with 11 hits, nine runs and three RBIs to help the Black Knights to a 5–0 week.
Boston University senior pitcher Kasey Ricard earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors for the sixth time this season after going 3–0 with a save, posting a 2.47 ERA with 18 strikeouts over 22.2 innings.
Colgate first-year infielder Marina Taveras was selected as Patriot League Rookie of the Week after batting .357 with five hits, including a 3-for-3 performance against Boston University.
Boston University junior outfielder Kylie Doherty, Colgate junior outfielder Nora Megenity, Army West Point senior pitcher Amanda Eaglin and Bucknell freshman utility player Barbara Jo Coppola earned honorable mention recognition.
The Patriot League softball players of the week are selected in a vote by each school’s head softball coach, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

Siena Tepley, Army West Point, So., OF, Brimfield, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit
*Tepley batted .611 with 11 hits, nine runs and three RBIs, helping Army West Point to a 5–0 week.
*She recorded three three-hit games and went a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases, including a two-steal performance against Lehigh.
*Tepley added two doubles in the series sweep of Lehigh and reached base at a .650 clip.
Patriot League Softball Pitcher of the Week
Kasey Ricard, Boston University, Sr., P, Littleton, Mass./Littleton
*Ricard went 3–0 with a save, posting a 2.47 ERA with 18 strikeouts over 22.2 innings.
*She threw a no-hitter against Colgate, the sixth of her career, setting a BU program record.
*Ricard also pitched all 17 innings in BU’s sweep at Colgate and earned a save against Providence.
Patriot League Softball Rookie of the Week

*Taveras batted .357 with five hits, including a 3-for-3 performance against Boston University.
*She added an RBI double and a run scored in a doubleheader split at Cornell.
Honorable Mentions
Kylie Doherty, Boston University, Jr., OF, Bolton, Mass./Nashoba Regional
Doherty batted .467 with eight RBIs, six runs scored and three home runs to lead Boston University to a 4-0 week, posting a 1.133 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage. She set Patriot League single-season records for RBIs (61) and home runs (18) and is now one home run shy of the career record.
Nora Megenity, Colgate, Jr., OF, Atlanta, Ga./Milton
Megenity hit .500 (8-for-16) with four home runs, a double and seven RBIs, posting a 1.313 slugging percentage during the week. She homered in each game of a midweek doubleheader at Cornell and added two more long balls in a weekend series against Boston University.
Amanda Eaglin, Army West Point, Sr., P, Peru, Ind./Peru
Eaglin went 2-0 with a 0.62 ERA over 11.1 innings, striking out eight while holding opponents to a .100 batting average. She threw a complete-game one-hit shutout and allowed just one earned run across two starts against Lehigh.
Barbara Jo Coppola, Bucknell, Fr., UTL, Harrison, N.Y./Harrison
Coppola drove in four of Bucknell’s nine runs on the week while recording a RBI in every game. She also added her second home run of the season.
