Six-Team Field Set for 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship (4.24.26)

Army West Point, Loyola Maryland and Boston University share regular-season co-champions; Black Knights earn No. 1 seed in 2026 championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The six-team 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship field has been set after the conclusion of the regular season, with Army West Point (11-3, 6-2 PL) securing a share of the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the championship for the third straight year.

The Black Knights, Loyola Maryland (9-5, 6-2 PL) and Boston University (8-5, 6-2 PL) were declared Patriot League men’s lacrosse regular-season co-champions, with Army West Point earning the No. 1 seed and hosting duties at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y. for the semifinal and championship game.  

The Greyhounds will be the No. 2 seed and receive a bye through the first round, while the Terriers earn the No. 3 seed. Boston University will host No. 6 Lehigh (7-7, 4-4 PL) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 in the first round of the 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship.

No. 4 Bucknell (8-6, 4-4 PL) welcomes the defending League champ and No. 5 Colgate (5-8, 4-4 PL) to Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Both first-round games will be played on ESPN+.

The lowest-remaining seed advances to play No. 1 Army West Point on Friday, May 1, at 4 p.m. The highest-advancing seed moves on to play No. 2 Loyola Maryland at 7:30 p.m. Both semifinal round games will air on CBS Sports Network.

The 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship Game will be played on Sunday, May 3, at 12 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
