BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship continues Friday, May 1, with two semifinal-round games at Army West Point’s Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y.
The first semifinal game features top-seeded Army West Point (11-3, 6-2 PL) hosting No. 6 Lehigh (8-7, 4-4 PL), with faceoff scheduled for 4 p.m. No. 2 Loyola Maryland (9-5, 6-2 PL) battles defending Patriot League champion No. 5 Colgate (6-8, 4-4 PL) at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be available on CBS Sports Network.
The Black Knights are set to host the semifinal round in West Point for the third consecutive year and take on the sixth-seeded Mountain Hawks, who stunned No. 3 Boston University on Tuesday night with a 16-15 overtime win at Nickerson Field. Senior goalkeeper Kasey Heath connected on a full-field pass with sophomore attack Luke Breslin, who delivered the game-winning goal to send the Mountain Hawks to the semifinals for the first time since 2024.
The Patriot League regular-season co-champion Greyhounds will face the fifth-seeded Raiders in the postseason for the second time after Colgate defeated No. 4 Bucknell, 6-5, in overtime on Tuesday night behind a game-winning goal from first-year midfielder Emmet Crotty.
The winners of Friday’s semifinal-round games will meet in the 2026 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship Game, scheduled for Sunday, May 3, with live coverage beginning at noon on CBS Sports Network.
Dave Ryan and Evan Washburn are on the call for the semifinals and championship game, while Paige Messier will handle sideline duties for the championship game.

SERIES HISTORY – Army West Point and Lehigh will meet for the 43rd time in series history with the Black Knights holding a 30-11 advantage, having won the last three matchups. The teams will battle in the Patriot League Championship for the sixth time, with the Mountain Hawks leading the series, 3-2. The teams last met in the semifinal round of the 2023 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship, with Army West Point coming out victorious, 19-13.
REGULAR-SEASON MEETING (March 28 – Army West Point 14, Lehigh 11 - BOX SCORE) – With the game tied 7-7 at halftime, Army West Point outscored Lehigh, 5-1, in the third quarter to help the Black Knights pull away for a 14-11 victory at Michie Stadium back on March 28.
The Plunkett brothers led the Black Knights’ offense with four points each, which included two goals and two assists for Evan Plunkett and a goal and three assists for Hill Plunkett. Junior midfielder Drew Miller added a hat trick, while senior goalkeeper Sean Byrne finished with 14 saves.
First-year attack Finn Morgan paced the Mountain Hawks offensively, recording a hat trick, while senior attack Andrew Kelly (two assists) and sophomore attack Colin French each added two goals. Junior goalkeeper Kasey Heath finished with 11 saves for Lehigh.

SERIES HISTORY – Colgate and Loyola Maryland matchup for the 13th time in series history, with the Greyhounds holding a 9-3 edge. The Raiders and Greyhounds have faced off just once in the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship, with Loyola Maryland earning a 12-6 victory in 2014 on their way to their first League title.
REGULAR-SEASON MEETING (March 14 – Loyola Maryland 13, Colgate 11 - BOX SCORE) – Loyola Maryland sophomore attack Mason Cook scored a career-high eight goals, netting four in the fourth quarter, to propel the Greyhounds to a 13-11 win at Colgate in the Patriot League opener for both teams.
Greyhounds’ senior attack Matthew Minicus totaled seven points on two goals and five assists, junior attack Kenan Everhart finished with five points on one goal and four assists, and senior goalkeeper Max Watkinson recorded 16 saves.
For the Raiders, sophomore attack Casey Quinson poured in a team-high four goals, sophomore midfielder Andrew Kiefer and first-year midfielder Emmet Crotty each scored twice, while sophomore goalkeeper Andrew Lehrman notched 10 saves.
