BALTIMORE - Senior Connor Kehm and sophomore Timothy Shannehan of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were named Inside Lacrosse All-Americans, the publication announced on Saturday.

Both First Team All-Patriot League standouts were honorable-mention selections by Inside Lacrosse. Thirteen different Terriers have earned a combined 26 All-America accolades from either Inside Lacrosse or the USILA, which will announce its All-Americans later this month.

Kehm enjoyed a career year as the anchor of the Terrier defense, totaling 33 caused turnovers and 59 ground balls this season, both of which are career highs. He enters the NCAA postseason ranked fifth in the nation with 2.36 caused turnovers per game and also averaged 4.21 ground balls per game, which is eighth-best among the nation's long poles entering the national tournament. Kehm notched at least one ground ball in all 14 starts. In his last seven games, Kehm averaged 3.57 ground balls per game and 2.71 caused turnovers per game. He became one of just four players since 2005 to have recorded 10+ ground balls and 5+ caused turnovers in the same game when he hit both those numbers in a Feb. 15 victory over Dartmouth. Kehm ended his four outstanding seasons at BU with 85 caused turnovers and 160 ground balls, which rank third and sixth all-time at BU, respectively.

Shannehan enters the NCAA Tournament as the nation's leader in points per game (5.43) and is also currently second in the country with 3.00 assists per game. No player in the Patriot League recorded more assists (37) or points (71) in the regular season than Shannehan, who was the first player in the NCAA (and the only Patriot League player) to reach 30+ goals and 30+ assists this season. He ended the year with 34 goals and 42 assists for 76 points, all of which were career highs. Shannehan was also named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team. He has averaged 4.57 points per game, which is second among active players, and 2.37 assists per game, fourth among active players, over his brief but impressive career. Only 2026 Tewaaraton finalist Joey Spallina (4.72) has averaged more career points than Shannehan as of May 8.
