Third-seed Army won the 2013 Patriot League Baseball Championship, becoming the first team to repeat since the Black Knights did it in 2004 and 2005. Army claimed its seventh overall title, the most in Patriot League history. The Black Knights also became the first team to finish with an undefeated record in a four-team Patriot League Tournament. Army opened the postseason by sweeping its semifinal series at second-seed Navy on May 11, while top-seed did Holy Cross did the same at home against fourth-seed Bucknell. The Black Knights went on the road again and swept the Crusaders on May 19 to claim the Patriot League title and berth in the NCAA Regionals.
