Complete List of 2018 Women's Rowing Academic Honor Roll Honorees
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The nine Patriot League women’s rowing teams combined to place 239 student-athletes on the sport’s Academic Honor Roll, announced Friday.
Georgetown led the League with 44 honorees followed by Boston University with 42 student-athletes, Bucknell with 38 and Navy with 26. Loyola Maryland followed closely with 21, while Colgate was represented with 20 student-athletes. MIT added 19 recipients each and Holy Cross placed 16 student-athletes on the list. Lehigh rounded out the list with 13 recipients.
10 out of the 11 student-athletes named to the Women’s Rowing Academic All-Patriot League squad also received a spot on the Academic Honor Roll, including Navy junior Megan Hanson, a Mathematics with Economics major and the 2018 Patriot League Women’s Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Boston University senior Nicole Toren was one of the 29 Patriot League student-athletes to record a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) during the 2018 spring semester and was one of the 11 honorees who made her fourth appearance on the list.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
