CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Loyola Maryland and Navy earned two Patriot League Men's Soccer weekly awards each while Lafayette nabbed one weekly honor when the League office announced results on Monday.
Greyhounds' senior Barry Sharifi earned midfielder of the week honors, while teammate senior Jonathan Sousa was named defensive player of the week. Navy junior Ian Bramblett nabbed goalkeeper of the week accolades for the second straight week and teammate junior forward Nicko West earned offensive player of the week. Lafayette freshman forward Hale Lombard rounded out the awards as the rookie of the week.
Boston University senior defender Satchel Cortet, Lafayette senior forward James Gibson, Lehigh junior midfielder Stevo Bednarsky, Loyola Maryland senior goalkeeper Matt Dabrowski, senior forward Brian Saramago and freshman defender Daniel Osuji were all placed on the honorable mention list.

PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nicko West, Navy, Jr., F, Mansfield, Texas/Mansfield
* West finished the week with six points after a goal and an assist in each of Navy's two contests this week
* The junior assisted on Navy's third goal of the day on Wednesday at American and then he scored the final goal in Navy's 4-0 victory on the road.
* Against Bucknell, West was involved in both Navy goals that were scored just 51 seconds apart to secure a 2-0 win for the Midshipmen.
* West now has six goals on the season, all coming in the last six contests.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S SOCCER MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Barry Sharifi, Loyola Maryland, Sr., M, Jericho, N.Y./Jericho
* Sharifi scored his team-leading third and fourth goals of the season on Saturday, including the game-winner in Loyola's 4-2 win over Lafayette.
* The senior put the Greyhounds up 2-0 in the 35th minute, and added a second strike off a penalty kick just over three minutes later.
* His second goal upped his career points total to 51 (17 G, 17 A) across 62 collegiate appearances.
* Sharifi also contributed defensively to Loyola's 1-0 win at Bucknell on Wednesday, preventing the Bison from managing a single shot on goal.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jonathan Sousa, Loyola Maryland, Sr., D, Rockville, Md./Rockville
* Sousa notched his first collegiate goal, which was a game-winner on Wednesday, as he scored in the 64th minute to lift the Greyhounds to a 1-0 road win at Bucknell.
* He also played a key role defensively in that victory, preventing Bucknell from registering a single shot on goal
* He also started and played 81 minutes in Loyola's 4-2 win over Lafayette on Saturday, as the Greyhounds improved to 3-1 in League play.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S SOCCER GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Ian Bramblett, Navy, Jr., GK, Easley, S.C./Easley
* Bramblett picked up two more shutouts this week to improve his season total to nine as he finished the week with five saves.
* The junior made one stop in a 4-0 win over American on Wednesday afternoon and he picked up four more saves on Sunday in a 2-0 win against Bucknell.
* On the year, Bramblett has a 0.18 goals-against average allowing just two goals in 11 matches this season. He has also made 23 saves for a .920 save percentage.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Hale Lombard, Lafayette, Fr., F, Belleair Bluffs, Fla./The Hill School
* Lombard scored the game-winner on Wednesday in Lafayette's 5-0 win over Army West Point.
* The goal was the second of the season and his career.
* The rookie also added two assists on the week with one against Army and one against Loyola Maryland.

* Cortet headed in the golden goal in the double-overtime 2-1 win against Colgate on Saturday.

* Saramago became just the 20th player in Loyola history to reach 75 career points on Saturday, recording a pair of assists in the team's 4-2 victory over Lafayette.
