BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League and its member institutions have released schedules for 18 League sports that will compete during the spring of 2021. League play will continue to be contingent on the League and its member institutions being able to conduct competition in ways that protect the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, staffs and their communities.
Schedules for Patriot League baseball, field hockey, football, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball and volleyball are available by visiting the
composite schedule on Patriot League’s official website –
www.PatriotLeague.org. Championship and challenge information for men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, women's rowing, men's and women's swimming and diving and men's and women's tennis is also available on the
League’s composite schedule.
Consistent with the prioritization of health and safety, the 2020-21 schedule formats feature a significant reduction in travel and overnight stays. No teams will be permitted to fly to competitions. The League made adjustments to its traditional sport-specific formats, with teams playing an increased number of games against League opponents in closer geographic proximity.
Spectators are not permitted to attend events held at any of the Patriot League’s indoor facilities. The League and its member schools continue to evaluate the attendance of spectators at its outdoor competitions. All planning and decision making regarding spectators will continue to be fully informed by health and safety and will consider local circumstances and regulations.
