BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Boston University women’s tennis team will serve as the top seed in the 2021 Patriot League Women’s Tennis Championship as the official schedule was announced by the Patriot League on Wednesday.
The championship will take place at Navy’s Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium from Thursday, April 29 to Sunday, May 2 in Annapolis, Md.
Action will get underway on Thursday afternoon with a first-round match at 2 p.m. between No. 8 Lafayette and No. 9 Holy Cross.
Friday’s quarterfinals will begin at 8:30 a.m. with No. 1 Boston University playing the winner of the No. 8 Lafayette/No. 9 Holy Cross match. No. 4 Lehigh will face No. 5 Bucknell at 11 a.m. followed by No. 3 Navy versus No. 6 Colgate at 1:30 p.m. No. 2 Army West Point and No. 7 Loyola Maryland will round out the day with a 4 p.m. match.
Semifinal matches will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 with the Championship scheduled for Sunday, May 2.
