BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point and Navy split the four Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving weekly awards when the League office announced the winners on Tuesday.
Army junior Clara Williams claimed Patriot League Women’s Swimmer of the Week. Black Knights’ junior Minh Donnell was named women’s diver of the week for the third time this season.
For the second time this season, Navy senior Jonah Harm earned men’s swimmer of the week honors. Men’s diver of the week was awarded to Navy freshman Finn Gelbach for the fourth time.
American sophomore Isabel McGovern, Army juniors Isaac Newman and Wes Tate, Boston University graduate student Kyle Falkstrom, Bucknell junior
Meghan Catherwood and seniors John Gehrig and Esme Hunter, and Lehigh graduate student Sarah Hardy and sophomore Ben Kisker earned honorable mentions.

PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Jonah Harm, Navy, Sr., Placerville, Calif./El Dorado
*In the Mids’ two-day extended dual meet against No. 12 Notre Dame and Princeton, Harm placed first overall in the 100-yard fly with a time of 46.55.
*In the 50-yard free, Harm’s time of 20.01 was first against Princeton and third against Notre Dame.
*He was also on the 200- and 400-yard medley relay teams that beat Princeton and placed second to Notre Dame.
*In Navy’s 179-116 win over Towson, Harm placed second in the
100-yard breaststroke (55.43) and the 100-yard individual medley (49.85).
*The senior was also a member of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team.
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Clara Williams, Army West Point, Jr., Tampa, Fla./Osceola Fundamental
*In Army’s win over Bucknell, the junior tallied four first-place finishes in individual and relay events.
*Williams won the 50-yard free (23.90), 500-yard free (5:03.64) and 1,000-yard free with a season-best time of 10:35.80.
*She was also a part of the winning 400-yard free relay team that posted a time of 3:28.57.
*Against Penn State, the Florida native placed second in the 200-yard free (1:50.00), 100-yard free (51.39) and as a member of the 200-yard free relay team.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Finn Gelbach, Navy Fr., Springfield, Va./The Heights School
*In the Mids’ two-day extended dual meet against No. 12 Notre Dame and Princeton, Gelbach won the one-meter dive against the Fighting Irish and placed second to the Tigers with a score of 350.55.
*In the three-meter event, his score of 333.75 was good for third against Notre Dame and Princeton.
*In Navy’s win over Towson, the freshman
placed second in the three-meter event (283.73) and third in the one-meter with a score of 272.55.
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Minh Donnell, Army West Point, Jr., Annandale, Va./W.T. Woodson
*Against Penn State, the junior came in second in the three-meter event (281.40) and third in the one-meter with a score of 268.18.
*In Army’s win over Bucknell, Donnell placed second in the one-meter (231.00) and third in the three-meter with a score of 252.38.

*In the Eagles’ win over VMI, McGovern won the 100-yard fly (58.30) and the 200-yard fly (2:09.23). She was also on two first-place relay teams, the 200-yard medley and the 200-yard free.
Isaac Newman, Army West Point, Jr., Albuquerque, N.M./Eldorado
*Against Penn State, Newman placed second in the one-meter (319.80) and three-meter (321.15) dives. In the Black Knights’ win over Bucknell, the junior took the top spot in the one-meter dive with a score of 299.10.
Wes Tate, Army West Point, Jr., Maryville, Tenn./Maryville
*In Army’s win over Bucknell, Tate’s season-best time of 9:27.16 in the 1,000-yard free earned him first place. Against Penn State, the junior won the 200-yard free with a time of 1:38.01.
Kyle Falkstrom, Boston University, Gr., Mundelein, Ill./Carmel Catholic
*In the Terriers’ win over MIT, Falkstrom won the 200-yard individual medley (1:51.06), 100-yard breaststroke (54.37) and 200-yard breaststroke (1:59.60).
Meghan Catherwood, Bucknell, Jr., Central Valley, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury
*Against LaSalle, Catherwood was second in the three-meter (242.10) and third in the one-meter (222.15) dives. The junior also placed second in the three-meter (253.58) and fourth in the one-meter (220.05) events against Army.
John Gehrig, Bucknell, Sr., Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic
*Against Army, the senior placed first in the 100-yard fly (49.49) and second in the 200-yard fly (1:49.37). In the Bison’s win over LaSalle, Gehrig was first in the 100-yard fly (48.86) and second in the 200-yard free (1:42.21).
Esme Hunter, Bucknell, Sr., Westport Conn./Staples
*In the Bison’s win over LaSalle, Hunter had three first-place finishes in the 100-yard back (57.25), 100-yard free (52.84) and as a member of the 200-yard medley relay team. Against Army, the senior placed second in the 200-yard back with a time of 2:04.12.

*Against Marist, Hardy earned four first-place finishes in the 200-yard fly (2:05.49), 100-yard fly (57.84), 200-yard individual medley (2:09.11) and as part of the 400-yard medley relay.
