BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University claimed its sixth straight Patriot League softball regular-season title and will host the Patriot League Softball Championships as the No. 1 seed beginning Thursday, May 9.
BU became just the third team in Patriot League softball history to finish the season undefeated in League play (18-0). It was the first time for the Terriers to record a perfect mark since joining the League in the summer of 2013.
Lehigh earned as the No. 2 seed for the fourth consecutive year. Bucknell claimed the No. 3 seed and Army West Point received the fourth seed. This marks the fourth straight year the Black Knights have made the postseason, while the Bison have made back-to-back appearances.
Top-seed BU will host No. 4 Army at noon followed by No. 2 Lehigh versus No. 3 Bucknell at 2:30 p.m. to begin the three-day, double-elimination tournament. All games will be streamed on
