Crush Completes 50 Free on Day Two of 2025 NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Army West Point swimming & diving freshman Johnny Crush represented the Black Knights on day two of the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships as he competed in the 50 free on Thursday.

The last competitor Army saw in the 50 free at the national meet were Coll Haddon and John Haddon in 1987. The duo finished 24th and 44th respectively with times of 20.48 and 21.09.

A native of Louisville, Ky., Crush took part in the first heat of the 50 free preliminary rounds as event five of the 2025 NCAA Championships.

Crush clocked a 19.67 in the event, just 0.07 behind his season-best time of 19.60 to finish 59th overall.
