Eicher Named 2025 Turnbull Award Winner, Seven Black Knights Named USILA All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Army West Point men's lacrosse saw seven Black Knights earn All-American honors from the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as voted by college coaches across the country. Senior attackman Jackson Eicher was awarded the 2025 Lt. Col. JI Turnbull Award which is given annually to the nation's most outstanding attackman – the first Black Knight to earn the award since Tom Cafaro in 1971.

Jackson EicherChristian MazurChristian Fournier, and AJ Pilate were named First Team All-Americans while Evan Plunkett claimed a place on the Second Team. Sean Byrne secured Third Team All-American honors and Will Coletti earned Honorable Mention honors.

Army's four USILA First Team All-Americans marks the first time since 1964 that the Black Knights have seen more than three team members garner First Team honors and only the third time in program history that the team has produced four First Team All-Americans in the same season.

Jackson Eicher | First Team All-American
Eicher, a USA Lacrosse First Team All-American and Nike Lacrosse Media First Team All-American, was a dominant offensive force for the Black Knights. Eicher is a 2025 top five finalist for the Tewaaraton Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top male and female collegiate lacrosse player. The Warrenton, Va. native averaged 3.86 goals and 6.07 points per game, both stats ranking second in the nation. This season became the just the second Army player in program history to Eicher set a new program record with 54 goals this season and moved into the top 20 of Army's all-time scoring list with 147 career points. He also ranks in the top 20 in program history for career goals (95) and is tied for second in program history for points in a season (85).

Christian Mazur | First Team All-American
Mazur, a recent third-round PLL draft pick by the Maryland Whipsnakes, a USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American, and a Nike Lacrosse Media First Team All-American earned his first All-Patriot League honor this season as he was named to the First Team All-Patriot League. The Media, Pa., native collected 17 ground balls, caused 11 turnovers, and recorded a career-best six points (two goals, four assists), contributing on both ends of the field.

Christian Fournier | First Team All-American
Fournier, a 2025 First Team All-Patriot League honoree, USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American, and Nike Lacrosse Media First Team All-American, was a steady presence in the midfield, leading the team with 33 caused turnovers. His 2.54 caused turnovers per game which ranks him third nationally. Fournier tallied career highs in goals (two), assists (five), and points (seven) as well as picking up a team-second 52 ground balls.

AJ Pilate | First Team All-American
Pilate, a 2025 Tewaaraton Award top 25 finalist, USA Lacrosse First Team All-American, and Nike Lacrosse Media Second Team All-American, continued his defensive dominance for the Black Knights this season, earning his third consecutive Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year award and his fourth straight All-Patriot League selection. He anchored a defense that led the nation in both fewest goals allowed per game (7.50) and scoring margin (6.71).

Evan Plunkett | Second Team All-American
Plunkett, a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention and Nike Lacrosse Media Third Team All-American, earned his third consecutive First Team All-Patriot League selection after an impressive 2025 campaign in Army's midfield. One of Army's regular starting midfielders, Plunkett recorded a team-fourth 14 goals, a tied-for-team-second 16 assists, and a team-fourth 30 points this season to help the Black Knights to their 12-win season.

Sean Byrne | Third Team All-American
Byrne, a USA Lacrosse Third Team All-American and Nike Lacrosse Media Third Team All-American, was named the 2025 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-Patriot League honors. The Acworth, Ga., native led the country in both save percentage (.607) and goals-against average (7.50) for much of the season. He made 147 saves and allowed just 95 goals, guiding the Black Knights to a national-best scoring defense (7.50 goals allowed per game) and top scoring margin (6.71).

Will Coletti | Honorable Mention All-American
A 2025 USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and two-time All-Patriot League selection, Will Coletti earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors after an impressive senior season. Despite missing four games in the middle of the season due to injury, Coletti boasts the second-highest faceoff percentage (.626) in the league with 117 of 187 faceoffs won this season. Coletti tied the Patriot League record for career faceoffs won as his 19 faceoff wins against Bucknell on Senior Day cleared the previous record of 742 set by Lehigh's Mike Sisselberger – totaling 781 career faceoffs won by the end of the season. Coletti was a driving force in Army's ground game, picking up a team-high 70 ground balls for a league-second 7.00 ground balls per game.
