Patriot League Baseball Championship Field of Four Determined; Holy Cross Captures No. 1 Seed (5.4.25)

Crusaders capture top seed and regular-season title; Navy, Army and Lehigh earn berths in the tournament

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Holy Cross won the Patriot League baseball regular-season title and will be the No. 1 seed in the four-team 2025 Patriot League Baseball Championship when the semifinal round starts on Saturday, May 10. Navy claimed the No. 2 seed for the second straight season, with No. 3 Army West Point and No. 4 Lehigh rounding out the field.  
 
The top-seeded Crusaders (27-22, 17-8 PL) earned the League’s regular-season crown for the first time since 2013 and will host No. 4 Lehigh (23-24, 11-14 PL) in the best two-of-three semifinal-round series at Fitton Field. Holy Cross welcomes the Mountain Hawks for the second straight weekend, with the teams concluding the regular season with a three-game series. The first pitch for game one is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10. Game two will be played on Sunday at 1 p.m., with the third game directly following, if necessary. Each game of the semifinal-round series will be available live on ESPN+.
 
No. 2 Navy (25-23, 14-11 PL) welcomes six-time defending Patriot League Champion No. 3 Army West Point (23-22, 14-11 PL) in a rematch of the 2024 League championship series. The Mids and Black Knights open their best-of-three-game semifinal series at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium on Saturday, May 10, with a 1 p.m. first pitch. The series’ second game is scheduled for Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m. If necessary, game three will follow. Each game of the semifinal-round series will be available live on ESPN+.
 
The semifinal-round winners advance to the best two-of-three Patriot League Baseball Championship Series at the home site of the highest-remaining seed. The Patriot League Championship Series winner will receive the League’s automatic berth to the NCAA Baseball Regionals.
