Patriot League Men’s Basketball PenFed Credit Union Players of the Week Announced (2.16.26)

Loyola Maryland’s Adair capture weekly accolades

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland freshman forward Emmett Adair claimed Patriot League Men’s Basketball PenFed Credit Union Player and Rookie of the Week honors when the League office announced its weekly awards Monday.
 
Adair earned his first Patriot League Men’s Basketball PenFed Credit Union Player of the Week award and second Rookie of the Week honor after averaging 25.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in the Greyhounds’ victory at Lafayette (68-54) and win against Holy Cross (83-73).   
 
Boston University junior guard Michael McNair, Colgate junior guard Jalen Cox, Holy Cross freshman forward Aiden Disu, Lehigh junior guard Nasir Whitlock and Navy senior center Aidan Kehoe were recognized as honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
The Patriot League men’s basketball players of the week are selected in a vote by League media members and each school’s men’s basketball athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Adair scored 25.0 points per game on 61.3% (19-of-31) shooting from the floor and 58.8% (10-of-17) from 3-point range to lead Loyola Maryland to wins against Lafayette (68-54) and Holy Cross (83-73).
*The freshman forward posted 26 points and nine rebounds on 10-of-16 shooting in the Greyhounds’ victory at Lafayette on Wednesday.
*He scored 24 points against the Crusaders, shooting 6-of-10 from 3-point range, including going 5-of-6 from long distance in the second half.

Michael McNair, Boston University, Jr., G, Temecula, Calif./Linfield Christian
*McNair led the Terriers to a 2-0 week, averaging 22.5 points and 5.5 rebounds on 53.6% shooting from the field, including 50% shooting from 3-point range. The junior guard scored 28 points, hitting 6-of-11 from beyond the arc in an 82-69 win against Bucknell. He finished with 17 points in an 85-68 win over Army West Point.
 
Jalen Cox, Colgate, Jr., G, Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola
*Cox averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 assists and 3.0 steals to help Colgate go 1-1 last week. The junior guard finished with 30 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals in an 84-80 overtime loss against Navy. He posted 13 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals in a 74-70 win at Holy Cross.   
 
Aiden Disu, Holy Cross, Fr., F, Buda, Texas/St. Michael’s Prep
*Disu averaged 21.0 points and 7.0 rebounds on 61.5% (16-of-26) shooting, connecting on 62.5% (5-of-9) from 3-point range. The freshman forward posted 20 points and eight rebounds in a 74-70 loss against Colgate. He followed with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field, making both of his 3-point attempts in a loss against the Greyhounds.  
 
Nasir Whitlock, Lehigh, Jr., G, Brooklyn Park, Minn./DeLaSalle
*Whitlock averaged 24.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists on 60.7% (17-of-28) shooting from the floor and 70% (7-of-10) from 3-point range to lead Lehigh to a 2-0 week. The junior guard matched his career-high with 33 points, shooting 12-of-16 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from long distance to eclipse 1,000 career points in a 90-82 win against American. He posted 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals to help down Lafayette, 78-69, to sweep the season series.
 
Aidan Kehoe, Navy, Sr., C, Montvale, N.J./Pascack
*Kehoe averaged 19.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals while shooting 70% (16-of-23) from the floor to help Navy defeat Bucknell (76-60) and Colgate (84-80, OT). He posted 26 points and 12 boards in a win against the Bison before recording his fourth straight double-double with 12 points and 10 boards against the Raiders.
