BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship begins on Friday, April 18, at the par-72, 6,084-yard U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md. Two-time defending champion Navy hosts the five-team field that includes Boston University, Bucknell, Holy Cross and Lehigh.
TOURNAMENT DETAILS AND SCORING: The three-day 54-hole championship is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The five teams will play 18 holes each day. Live scoring for the championship is available by

INDIVIDUAL HONORS: The competitor with the lowest three-round score will be the Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship individual medalist. The top six finishers receive a spot on the Patriot League All-Tournament Team. The Patriot League women’s golf major awards - player of the year, rookie of the year and coaching staff of the year – will be selected by the coaches at the conclusion of the championship.
RETURNING ALL-LEAGUE HONOREES IN THE 2026 FIELD: Nine of the 12 All-Patriot League selections from last year’s championship return to the 2026 field. Individual medalist and Patriot League Player of the Year Emma Tang is joined by teammates and 2025 First-Team All-League honorees Sue Lee and reigning Rookie of the Year Megan Kirkpatrick. Boston University’s Annika Manjunath, Lehigh’s Stefania Fedun and Bucknell’s Sophia Bardunias all made the first team in 2025.
Boston University’s Amy Han, Bucknell’s Paige Richter, Lehigh’s Yuki Zhu and Navy’s Keira Howard are back after making the All-Patriot League Second Team in 2025.
FIVE MULTI-YEAR ALL-LEAGUE SELECTIONS HIGHLIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD: Bucknell’s Richter and Lehigh’s Zhu are three-time All-Patriot League honorees entering the 2026 championship. Boston University’s Manjunath and Navy’s Tang and Lee are two-time All-League selections.
CROWNING A TEAM CHAMPION: Each of the five participating teams consists of six golfers, with the top four scorers in each round counting toward the team score. The final team score will be determined by totaling all completed rounds. Individual scoring consists of the lowest aggregate score of all completed rounds. Navy is the two-time defending Patriot League champion after winning at the Saucon Valley Country Club last season. The Mids captured their third League crown. Boston University has three Patriot League titles. Bucknell (2014) and Lehigh (2013) have each won one League title. Richmond, who competed in the League as an associate member from 2015 until 2024, claimed four titles.
TEAM CHAMPION EARNS AUTOMATIC BID TO THE NCAA REGIONALS: The Patriot League Champion will receive the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals. The individual medalist will also receive a bid to the regionals if they are not on the championship team. The NCAA Regionals will be held from May 11-13 at six sites around the country, including Ann Arbor, Mich., Chapel Hill, N.C., Huntsville, Ala., Stanford, Calif., Tallahassee, Fla. and Waco, Texas. The championship is scheduled for May 22-27 in Carlsbad, Calif. The 2026 NCAA DI Women’s Golf Selection Show will be on GOLF Channel on Wednesday, April 29 at 5 p.m. ET.

NAVY HOSTS CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE FOURTH TIME: This will be the fourth time the Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship will be hosted at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md. The championship was previously hosted by Navy in 2022, when Boston University claimed its third League crown. The Terriers also won the title at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in 2015. Richmond won the League title when Navy hosted the championship in 2018.
