Navy Captures Third Consecutive Patriot League Women’s Golf Title

The Mids’ Emma Tang earns second straight individual medal

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Navy captured the program’s third consecutive Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship, carding a team score of 14-over-par 302 in a windy and rain-soaked final round of the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club.
 
Head coach Kylee Baker and Mids became the second team in Patriot League women’s golf history to three-peat, joining Richmond (2016-2018), after shooting a 54-hole team score of 32-over-par 896.
 
Navy’s Emma Tang shot a 2-over-par 74 in the final round to finish at 4-over-par 220 (75-71-74), winning the Patriot League Women’s Golf Championship individual medal for the second straight year. Tang joins Boston University’s Adela Cejnarova as the only student-athletes to repeat as a Patriot League women’s golf individual champion.
 
Bucknell shot a 13-over-par 301 in the final round, the lowest team score of the day, to finish second at 43-over par (298-308-301). The Bison’s Paige Richter finished tied for second with Navy’s Vivian Cressman, at 7-over-par 223. Richter posted her fourth straight top-seven finish at the League championship.
 
The Bison’s Nicole Yun (+8, 224) and Sophia Bardunias (+10, 226) and Navy’s Hallie Briscoe (+14, 230) joined Tang, Richter and Cressman on the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Golf All-Tournament Team, finishing fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
 
Lehigh placed third, shooting a 26-over-par 314 in the final round, to finish at 73-over-par 937 after 54 holes, two strokes in front of Boston University (+75, 939). The Terriers’ Amy Han (+15, 231) tied for seventh, while Alanna Hall (+17, 233) and Yuki Zhu (+17, 233) tied for ninth place to lead the Mountain Hawks. Holy Cross rounded out the five-team field (+113, 977), with Julianna Megan (+26, 242) finishing 21st.
 
Navy will learn its NCAA Regionals destination when the field is announced during the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Selection Show on Wednesday, April 29, at 5 p.m. on Golf Channel.
