LEWISBURG, Pa. – Top-seeded Boston University and No. 2 Navy clinched their spots in the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Tennis Championship match with semifinal wins on Saturday.
The Terriers defeated No. 4 Lehigh, 4-0, capturing the doubles point with victories at No. 1 doubles (6-0) and No. 3 doubles (6-3). Boston University secured three straight-set singles wins at No. 5, No. 6 and No. 4 singles to punch its ticket to the championship match for the seventh consecutive year.
No. 2 Navy outlasted No. 3 Army West Point, 4-2. The Black Knights claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles and extended their lead to 2-0 before the Mids responded with four consecutive singles victories. Anna Wiskowski clinched the match at No. 6 singles, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The Mids will meet the Terriers in the championship match for the second time in the last three years after the two programs faced off in 2024.
The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Tennis Championship match will be played on Sunday, April 19 at the Central PA Tennis Center in Williamsport, Pa., after being moved indoors due to forecasted inclement weather. First serve is scheduled for noon.
