Patriot League Announces Seeding for 2026 Men’s Tennis Championship (4.21.26)

Lehigh earns top seed for the first time in program history; Lafayette and Holy Cross to play in first round on Thursday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Lehigh men’s tennis team earned the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Championship for the first time in program history, as the League office announced the official schedule and seedings on Tuesday.

The 2026 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Championship will be held at Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts in Bethlehem, Pa., beginning Thursday, April 23 and concluding on Sunday, April 26. In the event of inclement weather, matches will be moved indoors to the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center.

The tournament begins Thursday afternoon with a first-round matchup between No. 8 Holy Cross and No. 9 Lafayette at 3 p.m.

Quarterfinal action starts Friday, with matches beginning at 11 a.m. Top-seeded Lehigh will face the winner of No. 8 Holy Cross and No. 9 Lafayette, while No. 4 Boston University takes on defending champion No. 5 Bucknell. No. 3 Army West Point will meet No. 6 Loyola Maryland, and No. 2 Navy will face No. 7 Colgate at 3 p.m.

Semifinal matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, with the championship match set for noon on Sunday, April 26.
