BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2026 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Championship will be held at Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts in Bethlehem, Pa., beginning Thursday, April 23 and concluding on Sunday, April 26. In the event of inclement weather, matches will be moved indoors to the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center at Lehigh University.
Lehigh earned the No. 1 seed for the first time in program history after going 6-1 in Patriot League play. Navy is the No. 2 seed, followed by Army West Point at No. 3 and Boston University at No. 4.
The tournament begins Thursday afternoon with a first-round matchup between No. 8 Holy Cross and No. 9 Lafayette at 3 p.m.
Quarterfinal action starts Friday, with matches beginning at 11 a.m. Top-seeded Lehigh will face the winner of No. 8 Holy Cross and No. 9 Lafayette, while No. 4 Boston University takes on defending champion No. 5 Bucknell. No. 3 Army West Point will meet No. 6 Loyola Maryland, and No. 2 Navy will face No. 7 Colgate at 3 p.m.
Semifinal matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, with the championship match set for noon on Sunday, April 26.

The Joe Abrahamson Memorial Award
The Joe Abrahamson Memorial Award as the Patriot League Championship MVP is selected by the winning team’s head coach on Sunday, following the championship match. Bucknell’s Adam Stavrakas was named MVP for his performance in the tournament, which included a straight-sets victory at No. 2 singles in the championship match to help lead the Bison to the title. Stavrakas was named to the First Team All-Patriot League Team and became a key contributor in Bucknell’s championship run.
Returning All-League Players Set to Make Impact at 2026 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Tournament
Seven All-League selections from the 2025 season return for this year’s championship.
Army West Point returns first-team All-League selection Jackson Armistead, along with second-team honoree Alan Ton, leading the top of the lineup for the Black Knights.
Bucknell brings back a pair of first-team selections in Amar Tahirovic and Stavrakas, who are the top contributors at No.1 singles and No. 2 singles, respectively for the Bison.
Navy returns first-team All-League honoree Herrick Legaspi, who has led the Mids at the top of the lineup this season.
Holy Cross welcomes back second-team selection Ezequiel De La Plaza as the Crusaders look to make a postseason push.
Lehigh’s Sean Jeager, a second-team All-League selection, returns to lead the top-seeded Mountain Hawks into the championship.
2025 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Championship Recap
No. 2 seed Bucknell used a strong singles performance to claim the 2025 Patriot League Men’s Tennis Championship, marking its second title and first since 1994.
Navy took a 1-0 lead with the doubles point behind wins at No. 3 and No. 1 doubles.
Bucknell responded by winning four straight singles matches, as Stavrakas (No. 2) and Amar Tahirovic (No. 1) earned straight-set victories before Liam Kilmer (No. 3) made it 3-1. Oscar Bain clinched the title with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
Stavrakas was named the Patriot League Championship MVP after going 4-0 during the tournament as Bucknell earned the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship.
