BETHLEHEM, Pa. –  Boston University claimed three of the five Patriot League field hockey weekly awards when the League office announced its first set of honors for the 2026 season on Monday. American and Lafayette each earned one accolade.
 
The Terriers’ Lucy Johnson (So., F) collected Patriot League Field Hockey Forward of the Week honors after scoring four goals in BU’s games against Merrimack (W, 7-2) and Providence (L, 3-2).
 
Alex Purcell (Sr., D) was selected the Patriot League Field Hockey Defender of the Week, registering three assists, including two against the Warriors.
 
Jenna Park (Fr., M) rounded out the Terriers’ weekly honorees, capturing Patriot League Field Hockey Rookie of the Week honors after scoring her first collegiate goal against Merrimack and recording an assist at Providence.
 
American’s Katelyn Dulin (Sr., M) was selected as the Patriot League Field Hockey Midfielder of the Week. She scored a game-tying goal against Cal to force overtime in a 4-3 loss on Friday.
 
Lafayette’s Addison Kahn earned Patriot League Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week honors. The junior goalkeeper posted a .882 save percentage and made 15 saves to help the Leopards go 1-1. Kahn made nine saves in a 1-0 loss at No. 1 Northwestern.
 
American’s Olivia Morraye (Jr., D), Bucknell’s Sarah Althouse (Sr., GK), Lafayette’s Katie Gibb (Sr., M) and Lehigh’s Gracen Brant (Sr., F) earned honorable mentions for their performances during the opening week of the season. 
 
The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their own student-athletes.

*Dulin scored the unassisted game-tying goal late in the fourth quarter to force overtime against Cal in a 4-3 loss.
*She played 63 minutes against the Golden Bears and 42 minutes in the midfield in Sunday’s 3-1 loss at Stanford.

*Purcell recorded three assists in two games to help Boston University go 1-1 during the opening weekend.
*The senior defender assisted two straight goals in the first quarter of the Terriers’ 7-2 win over Merrimack on Friday.
*She assisted the first goal of the game in BU’s 3-2 loss at Providence on Sunday.
 
Patriot League Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week
Addison Kahn, Lafayette, Jr., Goalkeeper, Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford
*Kahn recorded a .882 save percentage with 15 saves to help Lafayette go 1-1 during the opening weekend, including a 2-1 victory at Kent State.
*The junior goalkeeper made six saves in the win against the Golden Flashes.
* She held No. 1 Northwestern, the two-time defending NCAA champions, to one goal in 59:34 before being pulled for an extra field player in the final minute in the Leopards’ 1-0 loss.
 
Patriot League Field Hockey Rookie of the Week
Jenna Park, Boston University, Fr., Midfielder, Edinburgh, Scotland/The Edinburgh Academy
*Park posted one goal and one assist to help Boston University go 1-1 during its opening weekend.
*She scored her first goal 83 seconds into her collegiate career to help the Terriers defeat Merrimack, 7-2, on Friday.
*The freshman midfielder assisted Lucy Johnson’s second goal in BU’s 3-2 loss at Providence on Sunday.

Olivia Morraye, American, Jr., Defender, Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West
*Morraye scored American’s first goal of the season in the fifth minute at Cal to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead in a 4-3 overtime loss. She was one of five AU players to manage a shot on goal in a 3-1 loss at Stanford.
 
Sarah Althouse, Bucknell, Sr., Goalkeeper, Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg
*Althouse led Bucknell to a 2-0 opening weekend, finishing with seven saves in a 1-0 shutout victory over Ball State, before making two saves and allowing one goal in a 2-1 win over Sacred Heart.
 
Katie Gibb, Lafayette, Sr., Midfielder, Vancouver, B.C./Point Grey Secondary
*Gibb assisted the first goal in the Leopards’ 2-1 victory over Kent State on Friday. She was instrumental in Lafayette’s defensive effort in holding No. 1 Northwestern to one goal in a 1-0 loss.
 
Gracen Brant, Lehigh, Sr., Forward, Collegeville, Pa./Germantown Academy
*Brant scored two goals in Lehigh’s 2-0 victory over LIU on Friday. The senior forward scored in the 24th and 52nd minutes, marking the first two goals of her collegiate career.
