BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate claimed three of the five Patriot League field hockey weekly awards when the League office announced honors on Monday. Boston University received the remaining two accolades.
The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their own student-athletes.
Patriot League Field Hockey Forward of the Week
Lucy Johnson, Boston University, So., Forward, Portland, Maine/Cheverus
*Johnson tied a single-game Boston University record with four goals in the Terriers’ 7-2 win over Bucknell in their Patriot League opener.
*She scored BU’s final four goals, posting one in the second quarter and then three in the fourth quarter.
*Her four-goal performance is the first by a Terrier in 30 years.
Patriot League Field Hockey Midfielder of the Week
Nicole Lauro, Boston University, Sr., Midfielder, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Escuela Normal Superior en Lenguas Vivas
*Lauro posted three points on one goal and one assist in Boston University’s 7-2 win over Bucknell in their Patriot League opener.
*She scored the first goal of the game in the first quarter, then assisted Molly Driscoll’s goal less than one minute later to help BU take control early in the match.
*The senior midfielder helped the Terriers limit Bucknell to five shots on goal.
Patriot League Field Hockey Defender of the Week
Annie Lake, Colgate, Sr., Defender, Wilmette, Ill./New Trier
*Lake recorded a defensive save in Colgate’s 4-0 win over Lehigh to improve to 1-1 in Patriot League play.
*She led a Raiders’ defense that limited the Mountain Hawks to three total shots.
*Colgate defeated Lehigh for the first time since 2014.
Patriot League Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week
Kennedy Glinn, Colgate, So., Goalkeeper, Glencoe, Ill./New Trier
*Glinn made one save in Colgate’s 4-0 win over Lehigh on Saturday.
*The sophomore goalkeeper recorded her second shutout of the season, as the Raiders held the Mountain Hawks to three total shots.
*The Raiders downed Lehigh for the first time since 2014 to earn their first League win of the season.
Patriot League Field Hockey Rookie of the Week
Olivia Milia, Colgate, Fy., Midfielder/Forward, Easton, Pa./Easton
*Milia scored two goals in Colgate’s 4-0 victory over Lehigh to improve to 1-1 in League play.
*The Easton, Pa., native found the back of the cage in each of the third and fourth quarters to seal the Raiders’ first win over Lehigh since 2014.
*Her two goals are tied for second in the Patriot League in League play.

Teagan Harmon, American, So., Goalkeeper, Monmouth Beach, N.J./Shore Regional
*Harmon posted a .714 save percentage and a 1.00 goals-against average (GAA) to help American go 1-1 last week. She recorded a shutout in the Eagles’ 3-0 victory over Maine on Friday. The sophomore goalkeeper made five saves, allowing two goals, in a 2-1 loss to Providence on Sunday.
Sophie Willemse, American, Sr., Defender, Oisterwijk, The Netherlands/2College Durendael
*Willemse scored American’s second goal in a 3-0 win over Maine on Friday. She helped the Eagles hold the Black Bears scoreless.
Alex Purcell, Boston University, Sr., Defender, Dublin, Ireland/Holy Child School Killiney
*Purcell assisted the game-winning goal and led a Terriers’ defense that limited Bucknell to five shots on goal in a 7-2 win. She leads BU with five assists this season.
Elicia Bikhazi-Green, Colgate, So., Midfielder, Poway, Calif./La Jolla Country Day
*Bikhazi-Green recorded two assists in Colgate’s 4-0 victory over Lehigh on Saturday. She assisted the Raiders’ second and third goals of the game.
Laila Pasic, Lafayette, Jr., Forward, Chatham, N.J./Oak Knoll
*Pasic scored the game-winning goal in Lafayette’s 1-0 victory over Holy Cross. She scored with 1:03 into the second half, marking her third game-winning goal of the season.
Lena Thedrian, Lafayette, Sr., Defender, Hamburg, Germany/Rudolf Steiner Schule Hamburg-Wandsbek
*Thedrian played all 60 minutes and led a Lafayette defense that limited Holy Cross to one shot on goal and one penalty corner.
