BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Lafayette earned two of the five Patriot League Men’s Soccer weekly awards as the League announced the awards on Tuesday. Colgate, Loyola Maryland and Navy collected one weekly award each.
Lafayette sophomore David Mizrahi earned Patriot League Men’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week, while midfielder Carter Houlihan garnered rookie of the week honors.
Colgate freshman Andrew Cooke was named the Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, while Navy junior Tyler Collins earned defensive player of the week. Loyola freshman forward Loc San collected offensive player of the week honors for the first time of the season.
Boston University sophomore forward Ronaldo Marshall, Colgate freshman forward Aidan Davock, Loyola Maryland senior midfielder Justin Ingram, Navy senior goalkeeper Ian Bramblett and freshman midfielder David Jackson earned an honorable mention.
Offensive Player of the Week
Loc San, Loyola Maryland, Fr., F, Mechanicsburg, Pa./Homeschooled
* San scored the game-winning goal 2:28 into the second overtime, as Loyola rallied for a 2-1 victory over defending Patriot League champions Lehigh on Saturday.
* The freshman followed up his rebound after his initial attempt was stopped, picking up the winning goal for the Greyhounds in his collegiate debut.
Midfielder of the Week
David Mizrahi, Lafayette, So., M, Averntura, Fla./University
* The sophomore netted the second goal of the game for the Leopards in the 44th minute on Saturday at BU.
* His goal was the second of back-to-back Leopard goals in the first half to give them a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
* Mizrahi totaled a team-high and career-high six shots, including a team-high and season-high three shots on goal
Defensive Player of the Week
Tyler Collins, Navy, Jr., D, Crofton, Md./Mount Saint Joseph
* Collins was part of the Navy backline that helped the Midshipmen record their first shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Bucknell this past weekend.
* The junior spearheaded Navy's effort in limiting Bucknell to just eight total shots and just three shots on goal.
* The Bison also recorded eight corner kicks and Collins' defensive efforts helped limit Bucknell's shots off those corner kicks to just two.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Andrew Cooke, Colgate, Fr., GK, Bath, Ohio/Revere
* Cooke registered a career-high five saves in a 1-0 shutout victory over Army West Point on Saturday.
* Four of the freshman’s saves came in the second half to keep the Black Knights off the board long enough for the Raiders to score the game-winning goal 1:01 into overtime.
Rookie of the Week
Carter Houlihan, Lafayette, Fr., M, North Wales, Pa./North Penn
* Houlihan netted the game-winner off one shot for the Leopards in the 88th minute to help Lafayette defeat Boston, to mark his first collegiate goal.
* The freshman added an assist on a pass to sophomore Hale Lombard in the team’s first tally of the game.

* The sophomore earned three points against Lafayette with an assist on the first goal followed by a goal in the 59th minute.
Aidan Davock, Colgate, Fr., F, Medway, Mass./The Rivers School
* Davock scored the game-winning goal 1:01 into overtime to give the Raiders a 1-0 victory over Army West Point this past weekend.
Justin Ingram, Loyola Maryland, Sr., M, Indianapolis, Ind./Pike
* Ingram scored directly off his corner kick to level the score at 1-1 in the 23rd minute in the team’s 2-1 win versus Lehigh.
Ian Bramblett, Navy, Sr., GK, Easley, S.C./Easley
* Bramblett made three saves against the Bison for his first clean sheet of the season as he moved to 3-0-0 on the season in goal for Navy.
David Jackson, Navy, Fr., M, Cypress, Texas/iSchool High
* Jackson scored Navy's lone goal on a penalty kick in its 1-0 win over Bucknell in South Division play.
