BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Navy Second Varsity Eight boat was named the Patriot League Boat of the Week when the League announced the awards on Wednesday.
The Loyola Maryland Varsity Eight boat earned an honorable mention nod.

Navy Second Varsity Eight
* Against No. 13 Syracuse, Cornell, Tulsa, UMass and George Washington the Mids finished second clocking in at 6:46.29 in the 2,000-meter race.
* The boat members included senior Skylar Lodice, senior Stephanie Read, senior Hannah Prince, freshman Noelle de Vente, sophomore Brigid Welch, junior Sophie Shelbourne, freshman Amelia Snyder, junior Sofia Ferguson, and sophomore coxswain Elle Perozzi.
HONORABLE MENTION
Loyola Varsity Eight
* On Saturday, the Greyhounds won their heat and finished fourth overall, defeating Holy Cross in a time of 7:40.1. On Sunday, Loyola won the women’s varsity 8 at the regatta in Northern Virginia, stroking to a time of 9:20.82 to beat teams from George Mason, Robert Morris and Carnegie Mellon.
