BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University placed seven student-athletes on the two women’s rowing All-League teams when the honors were announced by the League office on Tuesday. The Terriers secured the Patriot League Women’s Rowing title for the third consecutive year after winning the First Varsity Eight+, First Varsity Four+, Second Varsity Eight+ and Second Varsity Four+ races.
The Terriers led six institutions represented on the First-and Second-Team squads, followed by Patriot League runner-up Bucknell with four selections. Colgate, MIT and Navy each had two All-League members, while Georgetown rounded out the Second Team with one honoree.
The All-League teams are based on the First Varsity Eight+ Grand Final team finish at the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Rowing Championship held on Friday, May 15, on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J.
Boston University junior Ingrid Eshuis, sophomore Kate Barham, freshman Marta Carfagni and sophomore coxswain Laura Leong were selected to the All-League First Team. Junior Lydia Pelton, sophomores Raylynn Boston and Gabrielle Williams represented the Terriers on the Second Team.
Runner-up Bucknell placed four student-athletes on the All-League teams, with senior Logan Moore and junior Kalena Gatesman on the First Team, while senior coxswain Hattie Hopper and sophomore Callie VonderHaar earned Second Team honors.
Colgate senior Marie Clausen, MIT senior Kayla Robertson and Navy junior Harlie Hanley rounded out the All-League First Team.
Colgate senior Rebecca Carew, Georgetown senior Eleanor Power, MIT sophomore Lana Ghamra and Navy sophomore Paige Burke completed the All-League Second Team.
The Boston University Varsity Eight+ was named the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Rowing Boat of the Year for the third consecutive season. The Terriers were honored as the Coaching Staff of the Year for the third straight year as head coach Malcolm Doldron led his squad to their fifth Patriot League title. Boston University also won the title in 2014, 2022, 2024 and 2025.
