PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Boston University women's rowing program captured its second Patriot League Women's Rowing title after winning the 2nd Varsity Eight and placing second in the Varsity Eight and Varsity Four races to accumulate 50 points.
Bucknell finished second for the third-consecutive championship with 48 points after winning the Varsity Eight Grand Final. The Bison Varsity Eight was also named the 2022 Patriot League Women's Rowing Boat of the Year.
Navy finished third with 46 points and a victory in the Varsity Four Grand Final. Georgetown totaled 31 points in its return to the championship field to place fourth. Lehigh finished fifth in the final standings with 29 points, while MIT finished one point behind in sixth place. Colgate (16), Holy Cross (13) and Loyola Maryland (8) rounded out the nine-team championship field.
Terriers' head coach Madeline Davis Tully collected her first Patriot League Women's Rowing Coach of the Year honor after leading her squad to their second League title. BU also won the 2014 Patriot League Championship.

The Terriers claimed the Patriot League's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I Rowing Championship at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., from May 27-29. The NCAA Selection Show will air on NCAA.com on Tuesday, May 15 at 5 p.m.
