BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland junior Jackson Roman and Holy Cross sophomore Phoebe Chamian were selected as the Patriot League Men's and Women's Golfers of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday. 
 
Roman earned Patriot League Men's Golfer of the Week after shooting a 1-under par 215 (69-76-70) to finish tied for second at the Georgetown Intercollegiate at the par-72 Woodmont Country Club.
 
Chamian received Patriot League Women's Golfer of the Week honors after finishing 12th out of 40 golfers at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic to help the Crusaders to a fifth-place team finish.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN'S GOLFERS OF THE WEEK
Jackson Roman, Loyola Maryland, Jr., Berlin, Conn./Hamden Hall Country Day
*Roman posted his best collegiate finish, tying for second at the Georgetown Intercollegiate by shooting a 1-under par 215 (69-76-70) at the par-72 Woodmont Country Club.
*The Berlin, Conn. native birdied three of his final five holes to shoot a 2-under par 70 in the final round to move into a tie for second place.
*He helped the Greyhounds to a second-place team finish at 17-over par 881 (296-291-294) behind 2023 NCAA Champion Florida.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN'S GOLFERS OF THE WEEK
Phoebe Chamian, Holy Cross, So., Belmont, Mass./Belmont
*Chamian tied for 12th out of 40 competitors by shooting a 24-over par 240 (81-80-79) at the 54-hold Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
*The sophomore fired a 7-over par 79 in the final round to climb into a share of 12th place.
*She helped the Crusaders to a fifth-place team finish out of an eight-team field.
