BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate junior Jayden Freedman and Boston University senior Amy Han claimed Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week honors, respectively, when the League office announced accolades on Wednesday.
Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week
Jayden Freedman, Colgate, Jr., Boca Raton, Fla./Pine Crest
*Freedman shot a 1-over par 214 (68-75-71) to finish eighth at The Goat, hosted by Navy at the par-71 United States Naval Academy Golf Course.
*The junior was the top Patriot League finisher in a tournament that included Holy Cross, Navy, Lafayette and Bucknell.
Patriot League Women’s Golfer of the Week
Amy Han, Boston University, Sr., Dalian, China/King’s College (New Zealand)
*Han tied for 11th out of 84 competitors by shooting an 11-over par 228 (74-80-74) at the Red Bandana Invitational hosted by Boston College at the par-72 Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass.
*The senior helped the Terriers to a seventh-place team finish out of 15 teams.

*Sparks and Jeffords both won their foursome and fourball matches by 1UP to help Army West Point tie Wisconsin in The Bush Cup at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Haven, Wis.
Nathan Le-Nguyen, Lehigh, Fy., Toronto, Ontario/Royal St. George’s College
*Le-Nguyen tied for fifth out of 66 golfers at the John MacDonald Temple Invitational by shooting a 3-over par 213 (73-69-71) at the par-70 The 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He carded eight birdies and an eagle over 54 holes, helping Lehigh finish third of 12 teams.
Sebastian Alonzo, Navy, So., Azusa, Calif./Cathedral
*Alonzo shot a 2-over par 215 (71-71-73) to tie for ninth place out of 84 golfers at The Goat, hosted by Navy at the par-71 United States Naval Academy Golf Course.
