BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University senior defender Rachel Borzymowski and Lehigh senior midfielder Julia Gatelein were selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Team.
The NFHCA recognized 38 student-athletes from 30 different DI institutions, paying tribute to their careers.
Gatelein earned First Team All-Patriot League honors, while Borzymowski was a second-team selection. Both earned All-League accolades for the third time after the 2023 regular season. Borzymowski is also a two-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree, having earned League field hockey scholar-athlete of the year in 2022.

Gatelein Lands on 2023 NFHCA Division I Senior Team

Senior midfielder
Julia Gatelein was one of 38 student-athletes named to the NFHCA Senior Team. The midfielder scored four goals and dished out two assists including the game-winner in overtime versus Rider on Senior Day. Gatelein also tallied one goal apiece in the wins over Colgate and Ball State. Over her four-year career, Gatelein started and played in 60 games, logging 3,418 total minutes, scoring 10 goals and contributing 15 assists in her career.
