UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Army West Point junior Nathan Davis earned a bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships after a strong showing at the Northeast Regional race today at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. Davis placed sixth overall in the event with a 10K time of 30:05.34. The top four finishers from non-automatic qualifier teams in each regional race earn a bid. Davis trailed Graham Blanks (Harvard) and Sam Lawler (Syracuse), who clinched bid with their team as Harvard and Syracuse finished atop the team standings.
Davis is the first Black Knight to run at the NCAA Championships since Marshall Beatty in 2020-21. The NCAA DI Cross Country Championship will take place at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Verona, Wisconsin on Nov. 23.
