Loyola Maryland's Catie Corolla and Logan Olmstead Named to IWLCA All Star Game

Baltimore -- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the 2024 senior All-Star Teams, as Loyola University Maryland's Catie Corolla and Logan Olmstead were named to the North All-Stars. 

"I am excited for Catie and Logan to be recognized for their decorated careers at Loyola and have a chance to play amongst the nations best graduates in the IWLCA Senior All-Star game" Head Coach Jen Adams had to say. "I am so proud of them and looking forward to seeing them take the field one last time at this awesome event."

Olmstead, a First Team All-Patriot League nominee, capped off her career at Loyola, as she started in all 21 games during the 2024 season. She was third on the team with 16 caused turnovers, to go along with 19 ground balls on the season. Olmstead was a focal point in the Greyhounds defense, as they ranked 6th in Division I in goals allowed, allowing just 8.48 goals per game. Olmstead finishes her career with 71 games played, with 65 starts on the back line. She totaled 40 caused turnovers and 39 ground balls in her time at Loyola. 

Corolla, a Second Team All-Patriot League nominee, posted her best numbers as a Greyhound in 2024. She totaled 23 goals and 4 assists for 27 points, all career-bests. She finished second on the team in shooting percentage (.605) , while she also tied for third on the team in ground balls with 23. She finished her career with 63 games played, starting in 47 of them, for 51 goals and 7 assists in her career. She also added 64 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers in her career as a Greyhound. 

The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Division I team will play the first game at 10:00 am ET
