BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate sophomore Alex Hill and Boston University junior Amy Han were named Patriot League Men’s and Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.
Hill claimed Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week after shooting a 4-under par 209 (68-68-73) to finish sixth out of 80 golfers at the Autumn Invitational at the par-71 Lake Placid (N.Y.) Club.
Han received Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week after earning medalist honors at the SHU Fall Classic by shooting a 2-over par 218 (75-73-70) at the par-72 Great River Golf Club.
Holy Cross freshman John Scully, Lehigh sophomore Reese Hannon and Navy senior Jack Tarzy received honorable mentions for their play last week.
Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week
Alex Hill, Colgate, So., Victor, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit
*Hill shot a 4-under par 209 (68-68-73) to finish sixth out of 80 golfers at the Autumn Invitational at the par-71 Lake Placid Club in Lake Placid, N.Y.
*The sophomore led the field after 36 holes, helping the Raiders shoot a program-best 15-under par 553 through 36 holes. Colgate finished third out of 13 teams.
Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week
Amy Han, Boston University, Jr., Dallan, China/King’s College (New Zealand)
*Han earned medalist honors for the third time during her collegiate career by shooting a 2-over par 218 (75-73-70) at the SHU Fall Classic at the par-72 Great River Golf Club in New Haven, Conn.
*The junior won the tournament by four strokes, while matching her best collegiate round with a 2-under par 70 in the final round.

John Scully, Holy Cross, Fr., Winchester, Mass./Winchester
*Scully shot an even-par 216 (69-72-75) to finish tied for 11th out of 84 golfers at the UConn Invitational at the par-72 GreatHorse Country Club in Hampden, Mass. His opening round score of 3-under par 69 was the best round by a Crusader this season.
Reese Hannon, Lehigh, So., Tewksbury, N.J./Mount Saint Mary
*Hannon posted a second-place finish at the Autumn Harvest by shooting a 2-under par 211 (70-72-69) at the par-71 The Architects Golf Club in Lopatcong, N.J.
*The sophomore set the program’s record for low 54-hole score by eight strokes, helping Lehigh finish second out of nine teams with a program-record score of 865 through 54 holes.
Jack Tarzy, Navy, Sr., Medford, N.J./The Hun School
*Tarzy earned medalist honors for the second straight week, shooting a 13-over par 223 (77-72-74) at the Commander-In-Chief’s Cup in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
*His 4-over par 74 was the lowest score of the third round, helping Navy defeat Army West Point by 18 strokes and Air Force by 23 strokes, for the Mids first CIC victory.
